Depending on how serious it turns out to be my rooting interests in the AFC will switch to the Texans. Some body in that conference has seriously got to step it up
Patriots will be back in the super bowl. Nobody in the AFC can compete with Mahomes out. Don’t be surprised to hear he’s out for the year and possibly some of next year. He had to get his knee popped back into place. Most likely torn ligaments.

Yeah, it looked BAD. Funny how the media immediately latched onto the fact that he walked off the field for hope. They must have missed Rivers playing a whole game with a torn ACL or Bradford walking off the field in that preseason depression against the Browns

Funny as a youngster (really young 5 & 6) I liked the Chiefs because of the Red Pants at the time they were the only team that donned different color pants on the road and I liked their Head Coach Hank Stram and the crest.

Anyway now rooting for Vic Fangio, good guy, hell of a defensive coach, that finally got a shot to be a Head Coach, so go Broncos!
"Let's Matriculate the ball down field, boys. Lenny, hand that ball off! ~Hank S.

I have adopted the Texans as my hometown team for the past 3 year lol.

29 is a bit early to be loosing it, but I could swear I’ve caught you on a SNF or MNF thread waving a terrible towel.

I’ve always sorta followed the Texans since they beat the boys in their first game ever.

After looking at some relays may have just been kneecap dislocation. The recovery for that can very wildly depending on severity but certainly nothing like an acl.

I sorta followed the Oilers/Earlers, before the age of cable, Eff the Texans.

Oh I was, and still am. I really loved them from 2003 - 2011 or so. Loved Troy, James Farrior, Ryan Clark, Lamarr Woodley, James Harrison, etc etc. Nowadays, even when they made the playoffs, something about them just doesn't sit right. It did ease the pain when the 2 jokers were booted.

I just think it's super duper cool to have an NFL team in your own backyard, and I'm taking advantage of all the fun it comes with it. The Texans have def. taken over the top AFC spot.

Apparently my comment about the chiefs defense regressing has pissed them off so much that they want to kill Flacco.

They may be the Luke Skywalker of the conference now though, that should be enough for your rooting interest right? Unless you think the Ravens have a chance at claiming the AFC Iron Throne.

I miss those days so much. So many amazing memories living in STL as a kid! My number one is getting in the paper with Marshall Faulk by being lucky enough to have the photographer snap a shot while he was signing my football at training camp.

Now I live three hours from Seattle. I just pretend there isn't a NFL team anywhere near me lol

Well, I lived near Houston in the mid-70's. No Rams games/coverage there unless they played Dallas or even more rare, the Oilers. The only Rams news came via the box scores in the Houston Chronicle for the 3 years that I lived there.

I can now watch an illegal podcast from Europe, in my small rural town of 500 people in Kansas. There is no reason to watch the AFC, unless my Rams are beating that ass! ha!

I've heard Mahomes has a dislocated patella. Generally if it's a dislocated patella, the leg is splinted for 3-4 weeks with a recovery time of about 5-6 weeks if there is no serious injury to ligaments and tendons. Although it's not as serious as say an ACL, he's going to miss significant time. How the Chiefs weather that is debateable. It will all depend upon the damage to ligaments and tendons. But even barring that he's going to miss time.

These dudes are eating Flacco alive. These announcers are relentless. Poor guy hope he does retire after this season he doesn’t have the longevity as laboratory engineered Brady.
