There is just no way to see any other option. This team cannot compete with upper level teams.

The oline cannot protect Stafford and cannot run block well enough to run the ball down other teams throats like the Eagles did tonight.

OT has got to be a priority. Havenstein isn’t getting any younger and Jackson is a stop gap.

Avila gets a pass this year but he better get stronger over the off-season.

Limmer is good enough to get another look at center.

The man of glass needs to go. We have to keep Jackson for depth and hope he has a big turn around next year. The rest of them are practice squad fodder at best.

They better spend some draft capital here or next year will be just as bad.

Still only one game back in the league. Nobody is jumping up and taking it. If we can get a hot streak going, we could still take it.

Our highest paid players are mostly players that are not even suiting up.

Aaron Donald is our highest paid defender, retired.

Noteboom, highly paid, made of glass.

Jonah Jackson, highly paid, worthless signing.

Cooper Kupp, HIGHLY paid, a shell of his former self.

Higbee, just signed a big extension before the kneecaps took him out.

Only Stafford is earning his big contract right now.

I'm sure there are other examples.

They have had 2 prime time games this month and did not compete in either of them.

The only “decent “ team they have beaten is the viqueens.

They still have to play the Bills and everyone in our division once.

What have they showed that makes you think they can win the division?

Yeah that Jonah Jackson and Higbee signings are hurting right now.

What have any of the other teams in the division shown? It's not a strong division. I don't like rolling over and dying when were only one game back. Anything can happen.

Our division means nothing. Getting into the Playoffs means you face good teams. Getting stomped on like a narc at a biker rally is not appealing and means a worse draft selection.

I think the big question here is do you plan on fixing the fucking OL. Because if not then move Stafford this offseason. I am so fucking tired of watching him get the shit beat out of him. I like the dude. I want to see him have a good line in front of him, enough time to get to three steps and a quick survey of the field. I want to see him have a good run game. I want to see him have weapons to throw to.

But this rebuild is killing him. So to me they need to prioritize the protections.

I realize we need one pass game weapon at a minimum, and speed/explosive ability overall. We need one OT, preferably a LT of the future type while Jackson is playing 2025 on a tag or signed. We need one Corner. And we need one DL to finish the front. It's a lot. But if they don't unfuck the OL nothing is going to matter. If they don't unfuck the OL then you might as well move Stafford for picks so you can expedite the rebuild.

Cooper Kupp, HIGHLY paid, a shell of his former self.

If we’re talking triple crown season, sure. But right now he’s averaging 7 catches for 78 yards and .71 TDs a game.

Those stats over 17 games is
119 catches for 1326 and 12 TDs.

The lost a step rhetoric needs to stop. He’s still a top receiver.

Too soon.
Cards lost this weekend and the Whiners got blown out.
The division is still mathematically winnable.

Agreed.

The Giants won a Super Bowl after 9 wins and again with only 10. And the Packers won it after 10 wins in the regular season.

We can get to 10 and potentially make the playoffs.

And at the end of the day, you have to take playoff football as a win unless you are a super elite team.

Let's give up when there's zero to play for.

Rams still have a shot. Plenty of time and talent to win. Look, teams have bad days, nights every week. We had a bad night. Lets not overreact. The Rams have shown this year they can compete with anyone. Took Detroit to the brink, Should of beat GB, beat Minnesota, these are all playoff teams. Rams are still young, need to clean up some things on both sides of the ball but they can compete with any team in the NFC....really believe that.

As for the oline discussions, they need to make what they have work. Tons of cap money and investment there. They cant keep throwing money at the problem. At some point, LaFleur and Wendall (line coach) need to figure this out. They have a 16M back up currently on their roster. We were all excited this offseason with what did on the online.
