Rarely do I go on Reddit. That being said, here is maybe the most honest 49's fan comments you will ever see in your life:

Being a niner fan born in the early 90s has been pretty brutal. Born too late to really see the dominant 90s teams, just in time to see Hurst tear every part of his knee and derail the 97 SB caliber team. Then Young gets his last concussion. Then the Garcia-Owens teams implode. Then a decade of some of the worst football ever played.

Harbaugh is signed, the team is suddenly a juggernaut again! Kyle Williams muffs two punts we lose to the Giants who beat a very weak patriots team. Next year, get to the SB and Kap audibles into 4 straight goal line fades, lose. Next season, sorry ass Crabtree. Another 5 years of awful football highlighted by Blane fuckin Gabbart and a head coach who parted during a press conference.

Shanny is signed! Jimmy G looks awesome! Tears his acl week 3 vs Mahomes, the guy lynch and shanny didn't even look at. Jimmy is never the same. Whatever, back to the SB year 3! Mahomes kills us. Everyone dies in 2020. 2021, deebo is the most eclectric player in the league, Tartt drops a gimme INT, lose in the NFCC. 2022, every qb dies but Purdy looks awesome! This is our year! Purdy dies minutes into the NFCC, as does our 4th string qb. 2023, THIS IS OUR YEAR. Greenlaw dies and our backup RG decided not to block the best DT in the league, lose the SB. 2024, 2025, everyone dies.

The 49ers have had 3 different amazing eras in my life and they've never fucking won a SB.

The smell of fish from this Shanny accident is deafening. He’s lucky this happened in the bay area and not somewhere else. Super shady though and BS.

OTC has the shitters with the most cap space in 2026. 71 mil. Then look at the 2027 cap space. They're in the red by 35 mil. Only two teams are worse. For 2028 they're currently the only team projected to be in the red. They got some huge cap hits coming. Purdy and Bosa combine for over 100 mil in 2028. Purdy's cap hit will be 71 mil in 2029.
excited the waterboy GIF

Niners tried to keep accident secret.

"Tried"????

The question is why?

Keeping something from NFL HQ?

DUI?
Careless driving?
Speeding?

All of the above?

"Fishey" as RamTs said!
I wonder if the NFL didn't know about it, will they spend any resources investigating it like they would a scratch on the wrist?

Their teeth were removed a long time ago in order to better man the gloryholes.
I thought they got the retractable teeth. You could shake the change in your pocket and they would fold back.

Yep. Pretty scratchy. Though I do find it hilarious that Foolio is all butt hurt because he clearly was left out of the loop.
Seems when there's no criminal element to the accident, it doesn't usually make the news. Judging by the reported injuries, either Shanahan wasn't wearing his seatbelt or it was a high speed accident (or both).

Broken ribs (3), broken nose, broken hand, severe concussion and 40 stitches.

Come on!!! where are all these investigative reporters??? No pictures of the car? No pictures of his face?

Now that the story is out there I'm sure every media outlet and youtube click whore will be FOIA'ing all reports and cam footage from the responding officers. It'll be out there at some point... 5-10 days after this story broke per FOIA rules.
