It seems like The Rams contracts are all set that way.It will be more interesting moving forward.
OK
... We will just ignore that the Rams trailed with less that forty seconds to play in Carolina.
and
... We will also ignore that Chicago had the ball in Rams' territory in OT, needing about ten yards for a FG.

And ... finally, we will completely ignore that the Rams lost in the Conference Championship
... going 1-for-8 on 3rd downs, compared to Seattle's 7-for-13.
and
... their Offense could not gain a single yard on three plays after being 2nd and 4 from the Seattle 6.
and
... their Defense could not get-off-the-field to give Stafford one last possession.

It comes down to The BASICS!!! It’s not that hard of a choice. When your on the road you ALWAYS want to give yourself a chance to WIN !!

Take The POINTS!! Make it 30-31 & TRUST your DEFENSE!!! The RAMS were LUCKY to be on that situation down by 11.Missing out on 3rd down.

It is what it is though. McSnead coming back for years is a GOOD thing.

I thought it was the right decision to go for it. Trust your offense. Be aggressive. Even if you fail, you have the chance to get ball back if defense makes a stop - almost did, but the Kupp catch and spotty spot.

They werent calling time out. First running play, no time out. They were wary of helping US with timeouts simultaneously. Probably content to let the half run out. We gifted them with silly clock stopping incompletions.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If he runs the ball, he is playing not to lose and is too conservative. If he passes the ball, he is a lousy clock manager and will never learn. If we score, he's brilliant and being aggressive and putting his foot on the other teams' throats. If we don't, he should have just played it smart and run out the clock.

It's really quite silly. Some sit on their Lazy Boy and act like they have a better grasp of what is going on in the game than clearly the best coach the Rams have EVER had. Sigh.

They make a career of that shit. Hell... even THEY don't actually believe half the shit they spew. Imagine how rich you'd be if you could place bets after the event happened.

Well, i guess i was PERSONALLY so upset about it cause i "first-guessed" it before it happened. Was so happy we called a run there that gained about 4 yards then was MORTIFIED we went into "hurry-up." Should have slowly walked to line, ran again, killed some more clock and then try to pass for 1st down if we didn't pick it up running. Just think there is multiple ways to win a Football game and playing clock is one of them. Remember, as soon as we know that Seattle is getting ball to start 2nd Half it becomes IMPERATIVE we have the final possession of 1st Half. The small details.

I love how fans only seem to remember the times they were right and talk/post about it as if they are better and they should be making the decisions. How has the NFL overlooked such brilliant minds and instead hiring these guys.
Conveniently forgetting all the times they were wrong - imagine how brutally they’d get hammered online by other “fans” for these (ignored/forgotten) wrongs. lol.

LOL. Almost as much hatred for the HC as for everything LA.
