I'm not sure that there will be any big drop-off from Purdy to Jones. Purdy's 4th quarter TD pass could have easily been an INT rather than a TD if not for a great play by a back-up TE. That would have been 3 INTs.
I agree........I actually don't know how it wasn't intercepted. Horrible pass into traffic. The defense looked lost and stuck in a tar pit on that play.

Well, the shitter fans are no longer delusional. They're accepting their fate. Most their stars are either injury prone or under performers. Purdy, McCaffrey and Kittle no longer walk on water. I'm not seeing comments on how they're gonna stampede through the NFC on their way to the Superbowl. Even with the easy schedule. Most think they'll either get knocked out of the playoffs early or not make it at all. My, how the mighty have fallen. :laugh4:

I sure dont miss the days of being eliminated in September. Sounds like whiner fans are getting used to it.

Niners are a walking MASH unit.... :woozy2:

I'm actually really sad that Jake Moody has moved on. He has joined the Bears practice squad. We will miss you Jake. Thanks for all the missed field goals and disastrous NFL career.

I wonder how it would have been if Olave didn't drop a TD pass in the first quarter that hit him in the numbers and no defenders around.

The whiners unfortunately won again, but dang they do not look good and they should have lost to the she hags last week. At least Kyler Murray seems to play well against the whiners.

They've been lucky because when they have losing seasons, they lose spectacularly so they get a high draft pick. Rat's boy's overall record is a winning one, but he's only like 10 games above .500. Also, losing where you end up in last place, gives you an easy schedule.

Dunno if there's a dedicated Seahawks / Seahags (sp) thread or not, I couldn't find it in search.
But I watched their highlights, and they're not bad. Darnold looks like he's toughening up a bit, wasn't as easy to rattle, even against the Steelers D-Line w/ TJ. What helps is their run game, which looked really good. Their WR corps is better, with Njigba... and that #10, who caught a lot of passes in this game & did his usual YAC thing. Their pass rush also got home enough to rattle Rodgers.
They may, however, be more lucky than good. A muffed punt, and one muffed KR that rolled into the EZ for an EZ TD, and some other EZ INTs... Pitt had a lot of "unlucky" turnovers.
All that said... they're 1-1, and it shows. Our D-Line is much more ferocious than the Steelers, even with TJ. I expect we'll rattle Darnold's cage pretty hard. He's not mobile, but had a couple of nice runs we'll need to watch out for.
I went ahead and moved it over to the Shecocks thread.
