To think we had the earlier fumble returned for a TD and Tavon had another punt return called back. He didn't step out of bounds and if they had not blown the play dead the two penalties would have offset, correct?

Another important stat: Frank Gore, 14 carries for 49 yards, a 3.5 avg with the longest carry being 11 yds, and no TD's. Gore has rampaged through the Rams for far too long. Great job by the Rams D. (y)

I unfortunately missed the game due to massive migraine (I'll be watching it later), but the vibe I'm getting is that while the refs were incompetent as ever today, they were incompetent both ways today.

Jesse Ventura once noted that happening at a Wrestlemania and concluded "Well, at least it's fair..."

if I read the graphic on the TV screen correctly, SF was(operative word here) 15-0-1 vs NFCW teams at home

Wonderful win today! Fun, frustrating, ugly and beautiful all at the same time. Like watching the Kardashians (just kidding!).
