Sure. We want Derek Forbort and Valentin Zykov in exchange (hey, have to give a right winger to get a right winger). :p

Pffft, fat chance on Forbort, maybe on Zykov. I like Adrian Kempe more as a prospect, and a right winger, although Zykov is further along than Kempe is. Honestly our prospects on the wing are meh at best in my opinion, Kempe can play both sides though, which I like. Forbort as a left side defenseman and Miller as a right side defenseman are to important for the Kings to give up now, especially Miller as he's a potential replacement for Voynov assuming he gets convicted. You may like Jordan Weal more than either of those two wingers honestly, but I don't think LA gives him a real shot due to his size, which might also turn them away from Oshie if St Louis were to dangle him as trade bait.

You wanna get a guy like Oshie, who can pass, score, PK, powerplay, and wins in shootouts? You have to give something. Not just one prospect, not an undersized prospect either like Weal. If we can't have Forbort, then it's Zykov and a lower level prospect. And I love what Zykov brings to the table.

I'd be fine with Zykov and Weal (who is not a lower level prospect), just not our higher end defensive prospects. I could throw in a lower level winger as well, like Kitsyn, his development was hurt a little when the KHL refused to let him go, but since he's come to North America his game has started to round out, and he's made some great strides in the ECHL.

I can't blame you for wanting Weal gone. 5'9", 165 lbs. with speed that isn't elite? He's not going to make it in this league. He's to you like Rattie is to us. But no for Kitsyn. He's like Reaves except worse. We don't need an enforcer with no skill; we went through that with King and Janssen when we sucked.

Zykov and Prokhorkin. You're not going to get a guy who does all of the things that Oshie does without paying with two prospects who are on cheap deals. Prokhorkin probably isn't even going to come over to you guys anyway; you don't have a spot open for him. In our scenario, we would.

I'd happily through in Prokhorkin. I wouldn't say that Kitsyn is an enforcer, but he's trying to find his game.

Zykov and Prokhorhin for Oshie? I'd make that deal all day if we had the cap space.

Yup. Same Blues, different season. Blow it up with the exception of a very select few. Start with Army. Very pissed but not surprised.

Yes, I agree. Blow it the fuck up. Keep Tarasenko, Schwartz, Pietrangelo, Shattenkirk, Jaskin, Gunnarsson (if only because he doesn't take many penalties and he's signed for next year), Reaves (I have no problem with him as a fourth line player), and...well, that's it for the current roster of players. Bring up a shit-ton of young minor league players with potential because we are not going to be in Cup contention for a very long time, and they need to take their lumps.

Yes. As a "senior advisor of amateur scouting" or whatever the fuck that means. Honestly, the only guys I don't want to clear out are the scouting staff. They did their job right. It's just that fucking Armstrong traded the gems (Carrier and Letunov) for crap.

I want Armstrong gone yesterday before he can trade away more good young players for utter shit.

Blues aren't that far off, they're a good team. They need killers in the playoffs, and more balance among their lines. Spread the scoring around a little.

If you paid any attention to the Blues, you'd know that their core group has gotten two coaches fired, and they were trying for a third in Hitchcock. That's why a lot of people want most of these players gone. And what balance? We were fucking fantastic in the regular season, and choked everything away in the playoffs. Just like the last two years. Just like every fucking year since they existed.

They are not even close to being a team who can win a Cup. That's the only goal that any Blues fan should be looking for, and if they aren't, then their fanhood should be revoked. You think that fucking Backes or Oshie are playoff killers? Berglund? Ott? Bouwmeester? How about Jackman, who is a complete cancer to the team?

They aren't the Kings, Hawks, Canadiens, Wild, Lightning, Red Wings, etc. They SUCK in the playoffs. They are lightyears away from a Cup run. They choke every year. Blow it all up.

I don't follow the blues that close, I only know them from their games against LA. They are tough in the regular season, but the lack of finish in the playoffs has always been confusing. If they tuned out Hitchcock then that's an issue.

Aren't there a lot of NTC's and NMC's on the team though?

Yes. A lot of teams deal players with NTCs and NMCs. Give them a list. Get them the fuck out of here.

It's not about spreading their scoring around a little. Hitch made sure he tried every combo statistically possible. What the media and blind homers don't want to admit is that we only have 1 scoring line worth a damn in the playoffs. The rest poop their pants come playoff times.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of them really. LA only has one player, Brown, with a NTC (it eliminates 8 teams that he can't be traded to), which is cool. I guess I never really figured the Blues had deeper problems.
