finally pulled the trigger on replacing my 20 year old TaylorMade RAC irons with these Snake Eyes 685x irons...

bought the 685 driver last spring and love it, so for under $400 figured I would give these a shot (pun intended)

hit them great at the range today, but of course the real test will come on the course Sunday morning

I think the Rac’s were more than that 20 yrs ago.

I have the TM Rac’s that I bought about the same time you did.
I rarely play much anymore, with my kids in sports.

I bought the Traeger Rub for pork and some hickory pellets (as suggested here) and the wife is making the list now to get the rest of the recip.

Tomorrow, 321 Ribs (with x-tra smoke courtesy of my 6 buck smoke tube cuz no Super Smoke feature on the 575 Pro I bought. ) go on at around noon.

Lamented not having the super smoke feature on mine. In comments at YouTube someone said get smoke tube….problem solved

they were spot on….2.5 hours into a 3 hour smoke and it is still adding lots of smoke.

well worth the 7 bucks

yes. seriously.. was a complete wrap around deck..3 12x24 ft second 3 sections were 5x30 and biggest section was 20 x24.
