Can everyone comment on the best QB throw they have ever seen?

I only go back to the 70s so that rules out some early greats for me, but . . .

. . . the two that come to mind are recent:

1. Stafford's no look to Kupp over and between 3 guys in SB winning drive vs. Bengals
2. Big Ben to the back corner of the end zone to win SB vs. the Cardinals

I also remember a throw Wilson made vs. the Rams to back corner? of the end zone, scrambling, maybe 3rd and 15 or something? Statcast or whatever said there was something like 5% chance to complete the pass? . . . but it was regular season - incredible throw though.

I'm looking for accuracy/length of throw/game situation obviously helps

What does everyone think? - Best pass ever ?

Is there a clip of this throw?

Easily the Kurt Warner to Isaac Bruce touchdown to take the lead in the Super Bowl.

He had Javon Kearse, one of the best - and one of the most physically-gifted - pass rushers in the game bearing down on him. He knew he was going to get hit.

That deep ball was one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, especially given the enormous pressure.

I'd have to disagree on this one, Mem. To me, that play is all about Ike making a great adjustment to an underthrown ball.

I give props to Martz and to Warner for having the guts to be aggressive on that play. But Kearse got to Warner and definitely affected the trajectory of the ball, so Ike had to adjust.

Yeah, one of the greatest plays in Rams history. But if one of the criteria is accuracy of the throw, this wouldn't be the one.

Love the outcome of the play of course, I was going absolutely bananas!

I'd be picking between the Warner to Prohl TD to win the NFCCG in 99 and the Stafford pass to Kupp in the divisional game vs Brady and the Buccs in 2021. That pass by Warner was so dramatic and the Buccs shutting down GSOT until that play. Stafford snatching Tom Brady's soul was so satisfying when he clocked the ball with 5 seconds left. The Brady bugaboo was finally slain by how we won that game.

Either way, against the Bucs.

A lot of good throws in this thread . . . but only one where the QB was looking toward the sidelines to pull the safety off as he threw.

And it happened to be in SB inside 3:00 to play when everyone in the world knew where you were throwing it, so you had to do something "crazy", thus the no look - which no other QB could have done?

There have got to be more Warner throws? He was so accurate. And more Marino?

That Vick to Jackson throw has to be the best deep ball ever thrown? Or at least top 3. I wonder the velocity of that throw and it looked like he didn't even put much effort into it - he could of thrown it 20 yards further?

Some of the Rogers throws are ridiculous.

Was that Mohammed Sanu (WR) on the one throw?

I think the Warner pass to Proehl to win the CCG was better.

If we're talking best throws, that's different. The OP asked for throws with context, and I love the thread. Which throws were made in clutch time... And meant something special at the end of the game. So few of them and most if not all have been listed here.

Some that have not been mentioned. are by a QB that played for the cousin screwers in NorCal.... And I'm OK with that.
