Agreed! Only downside is they played for like 1:15. They easily could do a 2 hour set
Strange.
I wonder why.
They certainly have plenty of material. Were they playing with several other bands?
Outside of having a shortened set because there were more bands it would piss me off given what tickets cost now.

Neil has always been one of my favorites. I've seen him in concert 9 times. Everything from Harvest, Rust Never Sleeps with Crazy Horse, The Blue Notes tour, to his country album, to rockabilly with the Shocking Pinks, to Trans. When I saw him at Cal Expo, he did some stuff from the Trans album which was probably my least favorite of his albums. It was actually pretty interesting live. But then he did a bunch of acoustic - Sugar Mountain, Harvest, an acoustic version of Rust Never Sleeps, Everyone Knows this is Know Where, etc When he did Sugar Mountain, he sang the first couple lines and then just held the microphone up and the crowd took over. The last set, he came out with the Shocking Pinks. Apparently the first band he ever got to see as a kid was a Canadian Rockabilly band by that name. It was a pretty fun set. All in all, the concert went for over 4 hours. Pretty amazing.
Would have loved to seen the Shocking Pinks and Trans.

Its the Seaport in Boston. Great venue. Played with Technine, Black Viel Brides and Dance gavin dance. In this location they do have to be done by 11PM. The other bands only for 30 - 45 minutes too. Cheap ticket though. We had great seats (not a bad seat in the house) and paid $65 per seat.

Saw Bruce Dickinson at a club show in Denver a couple of weeks ago.
Only played one Maiden song, Flash of the Blade.
All the rest was from his solo albums.
Great band with two guitar players and a guy playing key-tar. Bruce played some percussion and a theremin as well. It was a really fun show.
He still has the pipes and is still in top form singing all his high register stuff. The band did not tune down on anything. Really impressive how his voice has held up as he approaches 70 years old.
Downtown Denver was fun.
I had heard some less than flattering things from some folks about how Denver has diminished over the last few years.
It seemed fine to me. Its always been a beautiful city and it still is.
Even for a Tuesday night the bar/restaurant/club scene was busy and fun. Lots of quirky, cool spots. Had a couple of rounds at a bar that had a bunch of vintage video games and pin ball machines.
Being a modern metropolitan city, it was an interesting mix of people downtown. A couple of bikers in one corner, college kids geeking out over old video games, a pink haired kid selling jewelry, a bunch of rock/metal fans doing pre game for the concert.
Great people watching and a great show.
Good times.

The last concert my wife and I went to was Taylors Eras Tour at Sofi for her birthday and that cost me $4200.

Keep in mind I really didn't know much about her and thought she was just another cheesy country artist. To my surprise I was absolutely blown away .... She sang and performed for three hours... she's a great guitar player, killer piano player.... Afterwards I kind of felt bad as I pigeon hole her as some no talent diva.... man I was wrong.

Anywho my top three concerts. And I've been to many:

1. Prince Purple Rain Tour (Forum)
2. Iron Maiden Peace of Mind Tour with Twisted Sister at the Long Beach Arena
3. Taylor Swift Eras Tour (Sofi)
