It’s incredible to me that this is what you(and others see with your eyes).

I truly mean no disrespect with my comment Pupped.

Granted, we haven’t seen prime Fergs yet, but we’ve seen prime Higs and we are talking about fluidity, explosives and body control here, which aren’t generally traits that are coached up per say. Higbee was good(not great) in those areas. Fergs looks like Davis Allen with a little more speed and maybe better ball tracking to me.

My player analysis rarely is far off from my fellow Rams fans but Fergs is an exception.
Yes, but it's too early in his career to place a ceiling on his potential. I am hoping for a big jump in year 2, which is to be expected . He has shown flashes, Mcvay talks highly about him, and he appears to be a willing blocker. Davis Allen has developed into a capable TE but I wouldn't be surprised if Ferguson surpass him on the depth chart.

No worries.
But, yes.. I do see that.
Btw.. Davis Allen's athleticism is top rate, for his size.. his only issue is 40 speed. So.. not sure why that would be a negative? He moves great.
Again.. I love Higs, I just think Ferg is a better prospect. I've been wrong before though.

Ferg had problems breaking into a TE room that played very well last season top to bottom. He was pretty close to making some plays down the stretch for us, you could tell the Rams were trying to get him going but he just wasn't ready.

But let's see what he does year two. TE is notorious for requiring time to adjust to this league. The kid blocked well, far better than expected in his rook season. Maybe he's ready to make a move with another camp under his belt.

I'm sure Arizona is over-the-moon about getting Love, but I have a sneaking suspicion their REAL prize they wanted out of THIS Draft was one Ty-ler Simpson.

(Have no idea if his name is ACTUALLY Tyler just sounded good in the sentence)
My best friend is a Cards fan, lives in Phoenix and texted me "You snatched our quarterback!"

Sports media here was torn on Simpson or any other QB pick this year. The thought being they're gonna suck no matter what, suck hard for a shot at QB 1/2 in next year's draft.

The most impressive thing to me about Allens' development is his improvement as a blocker.

Yeah.. I loved the quotes last year about how he just likes to hit people. Keep that around if you can. I'd love to see the Ferg/Allen/Klare group be together for a bit. Should be cheaper to keep Allen than Parkinson.. who's been great.

That would be a fun grouping.
That grouping in 13 personal would give plenty of receiving options. Id also keeping them in with Puka and Adams and line Puka up in the backfield. You could even run the ball with Puka in the backfield, which he did at times at Utah State.
All sorts of ways to spread the field, bunch the group in tight or open up the middle of the field for that middle passing game.
So much talent on this offense.
