KM can't see the field well enough. He cannot win from the pocket consistently. When you're a QB who can be made to be inconsistent or ineffective with general contain, you are not good enough.

He makes too many mistakes when he's in the pocket. When he's out of the pocket scrambling it's terrifying, but it doesn't happen enough. I think if he had a really creative OC who would scheme him into the flats with bootlegs, laterals, flea flickers, etc, or schemed QB run blocks up front to give him windows, he would be ok. But his size kills him in the pocket. All he can see is OL ass. :laugh3:

I remember when Kurt Warner said he would trust Murray more than Stafford in the playoffs. Then Murray lays an egg in the 34-11 loss to Stafford and the Rams. With Stafford leading the Rams to a Superbowl championship.

Man, thats a tough deal to trade. The way the contract works, he's guaranteed 40-42 mill in '26 and basically another 20-22 mill in '27.
That's a lot of cheddar to invest in a guy who's probably happy he doesnt have to play with Brissett taking his job....

Per Gannon yesterday, it's a combo of his foot injury and Brisett's play and the improved offensive output. Apparently the foot is at risk of re=injury if he doesn't let it fully heal.

Heard him live talking about it and I'm still not sure if they're benching him for the season or just until he's physically ready.

Benching of convenience. Reward the dude who is balling, and give the starter who gets benched a reason to hide behind.

I would have respected Gannon more if he just said the way Brissett is playing he's our QB1 now. But Gannon's a nutless dork. Ever seen him trying to be cool with the players. Painful as hell man.
