The SB or bust narrative goes along with the all in mortgaging the future thinking, both of which are wrong. The Rams key pieces will be back and they’re probably the pick to win the division at the moment. There are some young guys we’re anxious to see and Snead is already working on the “other guys” for next year.
There are no guarantees though, we might never get to another one but it looks like the front office is putting themselves in position to get back and that’s really all you can ask for.

“Stafford got them to exact same place as Goff”, that’s such a hot take and kinda lazy too, but hey, we got 2 weeks worth of content to come up with. Goff did get them to the SB, but right next to him was Todd Gurley leading the league in tds. Who knows what happened in the super bowl but there’s no denying he was a big reason they were there. Sony Michelle is no Gurley, he did an admirable job but he’s not taking over games like Gurley could, so Stafford is the biggest reason they’re playing this Sunday.

The rams needed Goff to win that game for them and he couldn’t, and apparently McVay doubted if would ever be able to.
Goff had an awful year the next year and he and McVay were headed for divorce. Stafford has dealt with disappointment his whole career, I imagine losing a super bowl would only motivate him more.
The super bowl year and the year after proved to McVay that Goff wasn’t the guy, Stafford has proven over the last year that he is.
