If true then Stafford's tendinitis could have been caused by small tears in his elbow ligaments. It's the only reason I can think of for surgery obviously microscopic in nature. IMO this could be good news. If his soreness was caused by these tears and they have been repaired, his elbow could be fine and this time next year it won't even be an issue. He might need occasional cortisone-type injections, but in the long run, Matt should be fine.

IMO this is great news for the fans and wondering why most news isn't covering that aspect. They simply want to ignore reality and cause worry about something that should be rectified.

This is the first I have heard of a surgery. Earlier it was reported to have been an injection.

Both Snead and McVay said it was an injection, so I’ll go with them. Even the article said the Schefter said he had a procedure, never saying he had surgery. I think the bleacherreport article’s writer didn’t really pay attention to his sources.

It was not surgery, it was a protein rich plasma injection.

Of course, if you can’t distinguish the word “procedure” from the word “surgery” then you too can work at Bleacher Report!

This one is the Bullshit National Media Coverage of-the-day.

If Stafford indeed had Surgery, THAT would be real news. However, that does not appear to be the case.

First-off, ESPN has been quoting and promoting Schefter' reporting All Fucking Day about Stafford's elbow procedure. It's being reported like it's New information which is absurd since it was first reported months ago ... Months!!!

Second, I have had the Pleasure of hearing Schefter report multiple times today on various ESPN shows, and have yet to hear him use the word 'Surgery'.

Finally, we are now reading multiple reports (like the piece-of-shit Bleacher Report), using Schefter's New information as their basis, to incorrectly report an injection as 'Surgery'.

So let's Summarize ... ESPN is self-reporting old news as new ... Adam Schefter is self-promoting himself by reporting old news as new ... and several media outlets (Bleacher Report) are beyond incompetent by not just reporting old news as new but also reporting it inaccurately.

Final Analysis ... ESPN Sucks ... Adam Schefter Really Sucks ... Bleacher Report Sucks Adam Schefter's Balls.

“Illegal procedure, offense…”

Bleacher Report: “the right tackle performed an unlawful surgery on that play.”

Exactly. ESPN was posting a report today about news from April, what a joke.

I think that is Bleacher Report's motto ... We don't believe in Details. We just make shit-up!
I was incorrect above. Did a little research, and found Bleacher Report's official business-motto.

"If we gave a Flying-Fuck about Details and Accuracy, we would NOT be working at Bleacher Report."

Little wordy but Kind-of-Catchy!

Not sure about the validity of the source or the reality of the situation, but if it's a PRP injection it is really not a big deal.
My son is a pitcher and was back on the mound in a few months. I'm sure Staff would be fine by now. According to those at practice, he is doing just fine.

Unfortunately, my son also had to have an additional sleeve surgery for his UCL as well, for which he's in rehab now and that's a 4-7 month deal according to the surgeon. Better than TJ surgery which is about 18 months evidently? Yikes.

This is what I assumed it was, while I have no idea what he and the team actually did, PRP made sense. He has all the resources, while you and I would probably have to get the likely less effective and more harmful cortisone Matt and the Rams can opt for the newer less harmful treatment
Edit:
Wow looks like prices for PRP treatment are coming down and some insurance companies are beginning to cover the cost.
It is 500.00 - 2500.00 per treatment according to an article I just read. That is great news for us regular folk

He did not throw a deep pass all night. His elbow is definitely a problem.

A lot of peeps saying when he walked off the field on the last series, or one of the last series he seemed to say to Sean "I can't throw the ball" I didn't catch it but multiple peeps have said they saw it. If true, not sure of the context

They were playing the perfect defense against us.
They played a deeper shell, and got a great rush with just 4 guys thanks to Von the Traitor.

He threw at least two. I remember because the WRs were blanketed on both, and I was worried it would get picked. One was to Skowronek. McVay wanted a holding call.

He almost had to take a full crow hop to make that throw too. Night and day difference vs last year. His arm is not the same. Very evident on the 25 yard throw to ARob in the first half as well. Hopefully its just out of shape due to not throwing that much this offseason. But go watch his throws week 1 last year. They were on a rope from a stable platform, he literally had to crow hop today on the deep Skrow ball.
