Just one play.

Put this game on for a moment, and saw a 3rd-and-17 play. Stafford got pressure almost immediately from the left-side, kept his focus down field (as Goff usually does). However, Stafford took a step forward in the pocket, giving him an extra second (something Goff rarely does) and drilled a 20-yard strike into a tight-window to Amendola who was bracketed by three defenders (a pass Goff rarely attempts).

Just one play.

At one point Stafford completed eight passes in a row and finished with a touchdown pass.

So you're saying we should trade for Amendola?

Stafford had zero fumbles.

His one interception was on a deflection.

Stafford actually marched his team down the field and threw a beautiful game-winning pass to the running back who appeared to score and then dropped the ball.

The good news with Stafford is that a good many of his INTs were him "trying to make a play", something that he should have to do much less of while here.

I don't foresee him being down 20 in the 3rd quarter as happened so many times where he's really pressing to get his team back into contention (and succeeding quite a bit).

This season has every chance to be something very special.

Mouth wide open, tonsils relaxed, head slightly titled back, salivating out of both ends, knee and elbow pads securely strapped - Goff gobblers unite!

Have to keep him healthy and clean, so Kevin Carberry, what say you?
IMO they don't have to keep it (the pocket) as clean as they did with Goff to get good results down the field and in the passing game in general.

Health will be huge though. Stafford has to be there every week. If Father time comes a knockin we're in trouble.

Saw the last couple of minutes, should not have needed to press after having a big lead. That won't happen with the Rams. Like the way he ran the two minute and as already stated, he had the winning TD if the RB doesn't take his eye off the ball when he is wide open going into the end zone.

Just one good example of him not being able to drag that team to a win. He will look great in horns!
