The Rams management which has seen the team win 35 games in the last 3 seasons after winning only 45 games in the 10 seasons prior?
And it can all turn just as quick!! I hope not but we’re taking a step back when our division is looking like the best in football

Last fall.... You must not have been paying attention post the Ramsey trade.

Why would management get ANY heat for this??? I know ya'll liked Gurely but something had to be done.

Until McVay has losing season(s) there wont be any heat on management unless there's a rift inside the FO which I doubt. You guys are acting like we've already had 5 losing seasons in a row. Remember we were a FG away from Making the playoffs for a 3rd consecutive season in a row.

Think about it though: when this extension hit, he was the best RB in the game

Injuries can happen to anyone and you can't really predict it - even though I wasnt a fan of re-signing Gurley, the money fit the skill and production

If they're going to catch heat it'll be for Cooks and Goff

Talking Snead and Demoff. Huge contracts to Cooks, Gurley and Goff. The latter two before need be. Huge draft capital to acquire Ramsey and he is still not signed. in comparison Eagles get Slay for a mere 3rd and 5th And supposedly already doing an extension.

If Rams have a bad year one or both are gone.

do you want some cheese with that whine?

Even with those two there was justification. Goff was just coming off of taking the Rams to the Super Bowl in his 3rd year, which included leading his team to victory in the NFCC without Kupp and a diminished Gurley, in a road game in a very hostile environment. Cooks was a guy we gave up a 1st round pick for and who was coming off of three consecutive 1000-yard seasons (and adding a fourth promptly after signing the deal).

I keep saying this, but between what a few other QBs get (Mahomes and Dak) combined with the increases in the salary cap, Goff's contract is going to look like a steal in a season or two.

I have to ask, what’s with the the Rod Hull and Emu avatar? Hull was great, Emu even better especially when he attacked Parky that time!!

You said it all right there.
But there is the added bonus for me about how he died — rolling off his roof trying to fix his TV antenna to get the football game. It’s just you can’t go out any better

More than likely personnel decisions.
Well in that case, Snead has done a fantastic job. When was the last time our players were hot FA additions? Tells me Snead knows talent. Plus it’s not like we have no talent at all. We have many talented players still on the roster but people get mad over our FO deciding to part ways to a player that will potentially not live up to his contract.

Sure it might have been a bad contract to begin with but it just goes to show that the Rams are willing to reward the majority of their players for their strong play.

If you take the first round pick, you likely don't get Goff because it cost us both seconds in 2016 - as well as our first and a first and third the next year - to move up.

I think we made the right call.

The rams have shown they are willing to reward a MINORITY of their players. Given many deserve it, its def not the majority, no team can afford that. But no first round picks for two years and shedding cap just to use it on another star player when We have decisions to make on Kupp, JJ3, etc, next season...its becoming obvious we went all in the last few years. As for Gurley, the dude had just come off knee surgery when we drafted him, the fact they didnt cover their asses by adding any type of injury clause is looking stupid right now.
