I don't think Gurley a has lost any significant ability to be more than effective. He simply didn't have enough holes. Give him some blocking and he will be very effective.

either way Trade Todd Gurley!!!
It’s obvious Gurley lost some of the burst that he had in 2017 and most of 2018. However....fix the interior OL run blocking (adding at least one stud OG/C) and Gurley and Henderson will be a very good thunder and lightning combo.
I'm not personally convinced that Gurley has lost any burst, except as a result of a restricted training program, restricted game usage, and deficient offensive line. All this, and not least McVay's feckless under use of him until too late, affected his attitude.
There's a good article by Rich Hammond in the Athletic about the Rams needing to really use Gurley or trade him. I support the former. I don't think you can expect a world class running back like Gurley to reach his peak performance with one hand tied behind his back in training, practice and games. Turn him loose.
yeah - the funny thing is The Rams can’t trade him because of his huge contract. I wonder how he’d do passing a physical??
I’ts going to be a long off season. I talked to a local Rams fan today. He agree’s, so I’m not that far off my rocker .....
I'm gonna go with rookie TG in terms of explosiveness. He looks like he's running in molasses in the open field today compared to then.Stacking the McVay years up. 2017 Todd was by far the most explosive.

Pass the phys
Oh yeah, the Gurley takes are hot & popular...no doubt you get agreements.
Go with it!
I think he plays for the Rams next year and his season is bigger than this one.
IMO
