I agree with your assessment of his strengths and weaknesses. I would add though that he's been the whipping boy before E. Jones was traded.Rozeboom is a given obviously, and honestly Reeder is a decent base defense 2LB when he’s limited in snaps and his role is limited to his strengths.
He scored a 63.7 off grade for the game which is almost about what he is in total (60pff) for a career.
Either he goes unblocked or the blocker can’t get to him fully and he’s decently effective when he doesn’t miss tackles.
This is why he’s the whipping boy, in the E Jones role his lack of attributes are magnified more often as they were only limited beforehand as he was in the Rozeboom role.
And I'm surprised to see that PFF grades him in the 60s. IIRC, anything around 65 is what PFF considers average. The way we talk about him here, he should have a 45 PFF grade.
