You guys see Skips comments on Dak, his depression ? No fan of the Cowboys or Dak, but everyone goes though bad shit. And Skip is a pile of shit.
Mental health problems are nothing to be ashamed of. There is a long list of famous people who have killed themselves. Many of the best singers/musicians of all time have offed themselves. Being super famous is not natural and some can not deal with it.
Right now with Covid, tons of good people are having problems. Its not about YOU Skip, you are one click away from subhuman.
I am blessed right now when so many are hurting. Making more money than I ever have, life is not bad. Wish it was that way for more of us.

Yea i was really offput by the words he spoke. I don't watch ESPN or that Show this Skip guy is on. It's always argument for the sake of TV. Which is insulting. Its like Soap Opera for bored or lazy men.

How you question someones emotion when they lose a loved one is callous. It lacks dignity and class. Dak is right on. Being real and transparent is real leadership, not toughing out losing a loved one as suggested. It's infuriating that this media head can't set his ego and ratings aside for a minute so see that there is something bigger than football.

I hope Skip comes to his senses and apologizes, otherwise he just looks like a complete heartless asshole.

Rant off.

The comments were crass, insulting, hurtful and if he genuinely doesn't realise that then there is a problem. I don't agree with ending careers over controversies like these but he does need to come out an apologise and understand why what he said was not appropriate.

The guy is a dickhead normally but he isnt normally particulalry controversial, just loud and wrong. Nothing wrong with that in itself but I don't personally tune in to it.

Don't subscribe to the cancel culture. But I've never liked this ass clown sports nerd and so I never watch him. The only time I ever do is when I see a video of Eric Dickerson on the show and ED usually puts the guy in his place very nicely.

Thats awesome.
I spent the last 22 years building a career in live events. Just in the last year were we finally living the good life, able to take a nice vacation, save for retirement.
Then March happened. I havent been this broke since I was 16.

He has always been been a clown who tries to say outrageous things to get views.
That is what people without talent or insight do.
His comments certainly reveal a lot more about himself than they do Dak.

Can someone explain what was said?
The Prescott family has been going through some things for sure. Dak’s mother recently passed after a bout with cancer. Dak’s brother had a hard time dealing with her death and had been dealing with depression and committed suicide. Dak, to his credit has been speaking about his own struggles with mental health with all that has happened and continues to happen. Skip made comments that Dak was showing weakness in talking about all this publicly. I expected to see some kind of pushback on these comments on Fox or ESPN but there has been nothing that I’ve seen, I sort of expected Skip to own what he said and say something about the seriousness of mental health issues especially these days but I watched the beginning and it was all Chiefs-Texans. Little bit insensitive.

He was on air this morning still

Thanks for clearing this up.

Good for Dak. He should be able to speak openly about such real, personal and difficult issues.
Mental health can effect anyone.
Depression will hit everyone at some point in life. Losing loved ones can really put a strain on life.

As a sufferer of chronic depression any even can lead to suicidal thoughts. I have had multiple incidents in the past and my most recent went undiagnosed after my mom's passing. Led to my divorce. Which led to even further depression. I cannot say how many times I felt close to suicide. The Covid Epidemic is hurting people financially and something like a close family member dying could easily push someone to the edge.

Skip Bayless should be called out on this. Those that don't let anyone know what they are going through are the ones that comit suicide and you always hear the comments about the close people not knowing or wish they knew etc.

It reminds me (sort of) is that idiot spokesperson saying TO had “10 million” reasons to stay alive or whatever.....paraphrasing obviously.
TO was pretty obviously a person with some emotional issues.....this was sit ups in his drive way era. Pretty clearly having some sort of breakdown.
Idiot spokesman wants to relate a rumored suicide attempt to money.
Pathetic.
Back in my days of working in the music industry (low level jerk) I remember hanging out with a bass player in a band that was very very big at that time.
The singer, who was the embodiment of the “rock star”, showed up. Arrogant, dismissive, loaded. Rock star 101.
Later in the evening he was sitting in a room by himself crying.
The pressure he put on himself to be this character and to have everything be a big hit was massive.
He was rich and famous.
He was also completely miserable and a very damaged person.
Worked hard for years to be famous....once famous he just wanted to surf and hang out with a few friends.
Died of an OD several years ago.
My point is being rich and in particular famous amplifies a persons emotional issues in most cases, not erase them.
Dak is dealing with real life stuff the best way he can and being open and honest about it.....he should be given kudos for that.
Skip Skip when he’s on.
