After watching the Monday night game, either the Seahawks and Denver's defenses are really really bad, or their offenses are really really good. I can't make heads or tails. The Bronco's straight up gave that game away on several occasions fumbling the ball inside the 5 yard line. UGH what a bunch of wet noodles. But either way, I'll hold any judgement until week 6 of the season. The NFL is kind of hard to get a beat on until at least week 5ish.
Yeah it has always been that week 5 range where the best teams get serious. But it seems like McVay has so many teams opting out of preseason now that it's chaos at the start of the season. So many teams that can't tackle, block, etc. So maybe that effect is more pronounced this season.

I think it's important to look at your regular season schedule as well. Playing the bills is going to be harder than playing the jets. Or maybe have some guys play and some guys don't. It's good for the Oline to get reps.

But I'll say up until this point mcVay had been perfect in his season openers

All I knows is that Geno’s performance last night had Shehawks fans saying “Whos Russell Wilson?” Which is pretty damn sad. I would hate to see that all of a sudden Pete is back to his walking, gum chomping up & down the sidelines ways. I really hope they just got lucky, because that OL had Geno well protected enough to make his reads. We seriously are lacking that type of luxury and in these days of the NFL we need it bad.

I suppose it would be better for the seahags to lose. We'd be tied if we win. But I cannot root for the whiners. Nope. Can't do it. Not no way, not no how. Ain't gonna happen.
