Yeah that loss vs Seattle will haunt us all season. Even though we’re up a game on them we’re technically only half a game due to the tiebreaker. All they have to do is stay within one and beat us at home to take the division. We need to be up 2 games on them come December for that game to not matter.

I hear you. And I'm not ashamed to admit I'm worried.
God why can't Seattle just go away.

I’m hoping we take care of Cards, Titans and 49ers, all very winnable games. Maybe steal one vs Saints, Eagles, or Seahawks. That would be 10-6 or 11-5. Hopefully Panthers and Falcons will knock themselves down to 9-7, 10-6. The Lions will hopefully be the Lions, but outside of Thanksgiving’s game, they play nobody the rest of the way and could be a wild card threat. And - biggest hope - Seattle drops 3 games to Jags, Eagles, Cowboys, and/or us. Going to be a crazy tight race, and we might have the toughest remaining schedule. ☹️

Hate to say it, but I kept thinking during the game that it would also be nice to kill off the Falcons. Then only two playoff spots from the South leaving only Detroit as a 2nd WC threat.

That would be better odds for making the playoffs.... Then I thought if this team is going to have a really successful season, then that means going into Seattle and killing them off. Plus, just could not have enjoyed watching the Seahawks pulling this gane out tonight.

So in regards to this division and the playoffs....

If your scared.... Get a dog!

The falcons are gonna kill themselves offf. Not worried about them.

Lions will only lose one or two max remaining games so I’ll be rooting for Minnesota on thanksgiving now since it’s almost impossible to top Minnesota with the tiebreaker in their favor.

Our best hope for a bye is eagles choking and us beating them to hold the tie breaker on them. And that’s not really realistic so let’s just win the damn Division and root against the other wild card potential teams here on out.

It’s beginning to look like there is only one playoff team coming out of the NFC West and it’s probably whoever wins the game in Seattle.
The Eagles, Saints, and Vikings are all virtual playoff locks. I can see the Lions and Panthers both finishing 11-5 with their cakewalk remaining schedules (that takes up the wildcard).

This is really a race with Seattle. We either take care of business in their house or we might end up like the 2015 Jets, going 10-6 and still missing the playoffs.

No doubt. Hard to believe they got to the super bowl with that crap defense. Not very many great teams this year. Eagles, Vikings, Saints, Rams, Patriots, Steelers, Jaguars, who else?
I'd throw the Panthers in there which is who I think we play when the playoffs come tbh. Revenge for the game that Steve Smith burnt Jason Seahorn! POS!!

I think we need to focus on winning this division. Backing into the playoffs is rarely a recipe for success. If we can't beat 4 of the following, we haven't earned it:
N.O.
Ariz.

Phil.
Tenn.
Sea.
S.F.

This is how I think it may play out. 12-4

At some point, Wilson throwing jump balls all 4th quarter and somehow the WRs coming down with every single one will end. Sorry, but the amount of luck the Seahawks have is just insane. I’ve never seen anything like it. Glad to see something actually not go their way at the of a game for once.

How can dbs not track those balls? Graham dropped a td pass straight into his hands from 40 yards away. What was the db doing? Look for the ball.

Respectfully, this is the thinking I reject. That somehow beating one of these teams would be "stealing" a game. We belong. We could win any or all of these games. I think we take 2 of those 3.

Wilson scares me, no matter who else is on their team, the guy still is that cornered cat fighting for survival - we will have to contain him if we want to beat them.

We need to beat them, period. If we don't, we're at best, a 4 loss team but we could be a 5 or 6 loss team. Which would be a remarkable turnaround from last year.

Does Seattle have 2 losses on their schedule if the Rams don't beat them?
@SF, v Philly, @ Jacksonville, v Rams, @ Dallas, v Arizona
They could lose to Philly and Jacksonville. Or they could go 1-1 or 2-0 in those games.

We need to beat them. That eliminates them winning the first tie breaker; head to head.

To me all that matters is that game in Seattle week 15. That will determine the division.
