Do you really think Jimmy Garapolo is what made that Niners team go? They beat the Rams with backup QBs. They have a much better roster than Seattle does.
The Niners as a team have beaten us just as how the Seahawks as a team have beaten them. The Niners have matched up well against us but not against the Seahawks. The Seahawks swept them last year with their “inferior” roster. My post was before Wagner was released, but if they kept the rest of the team together, they still could have be competitive enough to not get swept by the Niners. The Niners have some key players that are free agents this year as well and have limited cap.

Aaron Rodgers just signed 4yr extension at 39.

Wilson is 33.

I am in the camp the Seahawks should have loaded up around Wilson, move on from Pete. They could have easily 6 more years of Wilson.

Wilson never has been a running QB… and talk of his demise is premature.

I am cool seeing him traded out of the division.

Losing Wilson is an enormous blow to the Seahawks. Their ppg will plummet

To be fair, transparent and just-plain-honest, we had a couple Rams' posters on this Forum respond in exactly the same manner following the Stafford-trade.
Not quite as dramatized but sure, also one benefit of this trade is they took down the thread titled "fuck the rams"

I recall a few that were every bit as dramatic and extreme as the above.

Just looked-up one but will not call out a poster. The comment was:
"May the Rams never win another division or championship or Super Bowl for the rest of their days."

No obscenity in that one but it's pretty dramatic and extreme.

Oh I had initial reactions that were harsh I've never shied away from that. But in the end, in my case the next morning, you looked at it and learned to deal with it. We're human we all have initial reactions and hopefully we came to reality after them. The people that still can't come to grips with things that changed like this are the ones to worry about.

My initial bad reaction to the Stafford trade wasn’t about the players themselves and draft picks. It was Snead trading a ton to get Goff #1, then signing him to a huge contract and then trading him with the cap hit for someone new.
Like fool me once, fool me twice, fool me three…..well ok, the 3rd time actually worked out pretty well ;)

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this. Didn't read the whole thread. Seattle sure has a lot of amo now to go get Watson.

Yeah worst case scenario here would be that Seattle is about to trade for Watson.

Watson has to get his legal shit together. Then will the league suspend him and for how long, but it could be a huge game changer in the long term.
So if they were to trade for him they'd have a year or so to reload the lines and do a bit of retooling. Hopefully that's not how they're leaning, as I like the idea of Pete fucking up a rebuild. :laugh4:
