Ron Torbert

Ron Torbert is an official in the National Football League since the 2010 NFL season. His uniform number is 62.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Torbert began his NFL officiating career in 2010 as a side judge, then became a referee for the 2014 NFL season after Scott Green and Ron Winterannounced their retirements. Torbert is only the fifth African-American referee in NFL history, after Johnny Grier, Mike Carey, Jerome Boger and Don Carey.

Torbert's officiating crew for the 2014 season consists of umpire Carl Paganelli, head linesman Jim Howey, line judge Mark Steinkirchner, field judge Barry Anderson, side judge Scott Edwards, and back judge Greg Yette.

Outside of his NFL officiating duties, Torbert is an attorney, like fellow referees Clete Blakemanand Ed Hochuli.

have we yet to get an offensive holding call in our favor on a passing play? i know we've gotten a few on run plays but WTF?? with this pass rush there is no way in hell we should have this few holds called in our favor. im not sure what the numbers are for other teams but I think they've been reduced throughout the league. screw you Goodell

Expect flags flying, tension between the two sides, and Saffold to go down with injury (as usual).
 
Jerome Boger should be off every week and has no business officiating a National Football League Game or any game for that matter. He's shlt, in fact, he's worse than shlt, he's where flies go when they've been on shlt all day!
 
Went here as I thought the crack back block penalty on Kenrick was bogus! Anyone else see it that way?
