The new War of the Worlds with Ice Cube on Prime may be the worst movie I have seen in over a decade. In fairness, I did not make it all the way through, but what I did see was painful. 1/10.
There is a part of me that is soooo tempted to check this out.
Who doesn't enjoy a good car wreck??

Maybe it’s just me but Ice is pretty horrible in anything.

Nobody featuring Bob Odenkirk, 9/10. I'm always years behind on movies and just realized the sequel releases in 2 weeks.

If you make it all the way through it without diverting your attention (no looking at your phone or cooking dinner or playing with the dog) - give it your full undivided attention for the length of the film and I’ll Venmo you $5.

35 minutes......your $5 is safe.
Ice Cube was irritating....but, the entire cast was irritating.
The whole movie was irritating and ridiculous.

Took my daughter to see Lilo & Stitch. She enjoyed it, I fell asleep about halfway through.

Also, our seats were sticky as fuck.

2/10.

How To Frame A Figg

Don Knotts , 1971 film

I've always enjoyed Don Knotts movies , and I had never seem this one

this is probably one of his lesser ones

although coming out in 1971 , this is still very much a hold over from so many comedies from the 1960's , familiar plot

Don Knotts , the bumbling accountant that works for city hall learns the higher ups at city hall have been skimming money out of the cities budget

the cast , even if you can't name most of the actors , you will recognize most all of them in this movie , as they were pretty much staples in every other 1960's comedy

not one of Don Knotts better movies , it's 100% predictable , it's still a fun , enjoyable movie

Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but Predator: Killer Of Killers (Disney+) is well worth a watch.

I won't give away the plot, but it's very well constructed.

Spencer's Mountain

Can finally cross that movie off my movies bucket list

7.5 / 10

I've known for years , that Spencer's Mountain is what The Waltons were based off of

and years ago , probably more then 30 , I thought cool , I need to check out the movie , great cast , Henry Fonda , Maureen O'Hara , how can you go wrong

but then I learned they changed the location from Virginia to Wyoming , and the time line from the depression era 1930's , to the 1960's , so right then , all of a sudden I lost some interest , I was like if it doesn't take place during the depression , what was the point

although I was always interested still in watching it , always heard good things , but it was just one of those movies , I just kept kicking it on down the road

till last night , finally got around to watching , any yea , it was a pretty decent movie , not really sure the point of the changes though , other then a couple exterior shots , it probably could have passed off as Virginia , or a couple shots of a couple automobiles , it could have easily passed as the 1930's

overall a enjoyable movie , I'm glad that after 30 years or so , I finally got around to watching it...........lol
