I have to imagine that the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a part of that movie.

People everywhere: fucking recycle your plastic bottles.
I saw and investigative report that followed a person's recycled plastic bottles with some sort of tracking device to the Pacific garbage patch as well.

Then there needs to be a better way to take care of such plastics that won't harm the planet we live on. We're not terraforming worlds to live on yet, so we only have this one ball of rock as ours. Resources for our consumption aren't infinite. Animal, plant, and fungi populations aren't unlimited and are vulnerable to habitat loss. And yet we're squandering all of it.

If anyone's wondering why I'm such an environmentalist and why I'm so passionate about this, that's why. I want to leave a good, healthy world for my nephew, my unborn nephew/niece, and any other children my siblings and cousins might have.

Sorry for the off-topic rant.

That's fine. Let me know when collecting plastic in bins actually does anything worthwhile.

It's why I want more people to find a way to get rid of plastic in a way that is easy without harming the environment. I apologize if I seem harsh. I just believe strongly in an Earth our children can enjoy to its fullest.

Isn't the whole point of a film, especially a documentary, to make people think and to generate conversation?
Yes, let's all discuss the follies of residential recycling and the fate of our planet, ad nauseum. That's what I come here for.

I believe that Science will eventually figure out a way to get rid of pollution.

And that's the last I will say about it.

I enjoyed the movie, but, not one of QT's best in my humble opinion.....still very entertaining.
Fair enough. I love all of Tarantino's joints. They are all pretty much 10/10 for me, going back to True Romance and Reservoir Dogs. I love the revisionist history stuff, so of course I love Once Upon.

QT actually considers it his magnum opus, and I can see why. Audiences consider Pulp Fiction his greatest, and I don't have a problem with that either, haha.

Not to take us back off topic, haha, but I agree. I believe scientists have already discovered an enzyme/bacteria that can effectively break down plastics in about six weeks. Crazy stuff.

There’s an idea for a film right there: Plastic Man versus Comamonas.

Bearing in mind that the bacteria took seven weeks to break down 1/20th of a gram of plastic, the film could be quite long.
