Snead must've been coked out when he made the deal. Guy looks like he hasn't slept since 2009

Curious/Looking forward to hearing Press Conferences by McVay and Snead to give their thoughts/reasons for this trade.

Hmmmm what number do you guys think Caleb Williams is going to wear next year for us?

Might as well get my jersey now...

It sure looks like the brains of this FO left for Detroit a couple of years ago.
Maybe, but let me know when they make a couple SB appearances and win one. Building thru the draft takes time and the days of getting five+ years to do that are gone.

He’s done really well in just two years(Holmes). Of course, I don’t believe for a minute that they can do it with Goff at QB.

I have no ill-will towards Ramsey and the Rams FO. Yes I was expecting a higher return on Ramsey and it's disappointing but it's hard to get mad for me knowing that the win now/fuck dem picks strategy netted us a ring. I lowkey look forward to the shift in philosophy of developing younger talent and organic growth of this team similar to the Fisher days but with contemporary coaching standards; I'm hoping this time, we can have sustainable success with more rings to come, long-term. Only downside is the annoyance of having more opposing fans occupy SoFi during this retool/rebuild period but that's on the NFL as a whole for pricing out fans that could build a better culture.

I'm honestly just laughing at Buffalo right now. They're so screwed.

As for the Rams... I'll just say this. Snead is under a microscope.

As for the Dolphins: Go get Tom Brady and you've over taking the Bills and have a shot at taking out CIN for the right to go play in the Sixth Annual Mahomes Invitation. MIA should be really excited. The value of this trade doesn't get much better really.

I hope this doesn't mean the Rams are done at TE during the draft, this is one of the deeper TE drafts in ages. We do still have time to unload Higbee for a late 2026 7'th rounder though, so let's see what happens.

I will say this... Before all this started I wanted them to trade him because I felt he had declined. At that point I had no idea what return we might get for him. Then the rumors started, which got me thinking crazy shit. But clearly the truth is we just moved a declining and overpaid corner to a team that will try to use him to squeeze out wins before he's done. It's very risky for Miami and also expensive. So of course that salary cap dump effect plays into the value.

Not sure how we'll feel next year but let's hit on that 3rd round pick and move on. That's just how I see it. The wailing and gnashing of teeth on Ramsey is worse than what we had with Goff. Because at least Goff was a team-first dude who still had upside pending. Ramsey is on the back nine and maybe well into it.
I think we could have got the same thing had we waited for a year. He may be past his peak but he’s still a great DB and our cap savings are very small this year.
