road wins in the NFL are a bitch after we just went to war with the saints and everyone threw there bodies around last week. Everyone sacrificed BIGTIME. Gurley is aware now he has to give just hat it takes and he isn't being GIVEN many big holes as last week the PITCH was working against the Saints and tonight against the pats SB D we had to run in the inside middle gaps and then play action worked. Malcolm Brown was not as effective as last week either. It's not just Gurley as Goff needed to focus on the middle of the field more instead of all the outside stuff and we had more drops than usual tonight.
Yes, but you missed my point. It's about missing Saffold and having to rely on Demby. That affected everything else. WR's timing may be off because Goff is rushed, because Demby is a liability. Havenstein and Allen look worse, because Demby is a liability. Allen is a rookie starter and isn't helped by his right side being another worry for a guy doing a hard job already. We will get every gap filled with the Patriot defense because our Oline is a liability. The cliche is true i that it all starts up front.

I don’t think his knee is the problem though. His running looks fine but just seems...disinterested.

Could be a mental thing. Hes had some bad injuries in the past and the idea of gettig hurt again has to way on his mind.

Ugly win, but we're fucking 3-0. Say what you want about McVay, but he gets the W's. As for Goff, he was great in the second half until that fucking pick. He needs to tuck it and get the first. There's no need to force it there.

If Goff was a little more decisive on when to run and ran a bit more often it would help keep the chains moving.

Guys I bleed Rams and am ecstatic that we are 3-0 however I am all in on Goff and Mcvey but what I'm seeing is goff has been average at best and is forcing stuff that just isn't there and a lot of wobblers and not leading the reciever which is concerning this has to be changed.
With that being said to me a lot of the plays are redundant and Freddy kitchens with no secondary has no business shutting down our offense and basically being a par with Mcvey coaching wise in this game.
Mcvey has to change it up be a bit more creative. I never thought I'd say that. I just think sometimes he out thinks himself.

Just as easy as we won 3 games we could lose three games in a row if the offense goff and Mcvey don't get it together.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer but yes what I'm seeing is an offense that isn't flowing almost no identity. Sounds crazy right??? But think about it the offense is not dominating passing wise and running wise even special teams is not in sync with all this talent you got to make adjustments. It took two quarters to figure out that they watched us hit the outside against the saints running the ball so that took all that away but they left the inside wide open. That's where you make adjustments on the fly that's where you take a shot bring Henderson in see if he can break one in those gaping holes that were yearning for a big run. Henderson should be used at some point give the offense a wrinkle.

Basically where I'm concerned is if everyone has made adjustments to us and everyone is bring there "A" game we need to change it up accordingly.

Gaining Allen at the line over Sullivan probably ends up being a net positive at the end of the year but Noteboom is a big step back from Saffold at guard. We missing that boy.

Our secondary.. overall did a solid job.

They got wide open a few times.. but we never got beat of the top.

Glad we won. I thought Goff was looking decent today until that last interception. Just can't have that happen there at that point in the game. McVay seriously needs to involve Brown in the offense more moving forward. If the offense can slowly pull it together and peak towards the end of the season, we will make another run at the SB. That being said, I feel very cautiously optimistic regarding our offense so far, but loving our defense.

Long year and LONG process. BELIEVE. We have the players if we can stay healthy and execute. Blythe back next week. Beating the saints was bigger than most are aware. I watched the game again and again and am surprised after all the players that threw their bodies around last week was why they get paid but we gave so much effort that I think many missed. watch it about 10 times and then see why we had such a tough game tonight. We adjusted and ran outside on the saints and that didn't work tonight. We could only run up the middle gaps and then we could play action like we do. Brown didn't run as well this week as he did last week he was dancing after the plays. We had bigger plays earlier in the season last year in beating the Vikes and we have a totally different schedule and we will go to war with the sea birds and the whiners for the division. Saints beat the seachickens right?

Our Rams are a fucking beast in the NFL right now, dont forget.
We have been playing like ass, by this teams standards, yet are 3 and 0 with 2 on the road. Only the best can get away with W's like this.
We know our coaches are good, we have the players...
... if this is a slump, I'll take it...

I’m not celebrating shit. We played awful tonight. First time I’ve doubted McVay. His situational play calling was terrible. Goff has to step it up. He’s way too up and down and seems to turn the ball over every single game. The Oline was bad. Run defense has to tighten up. The Browns are NOT a good team and it should have been a blowout.

I know this sounds stupid considering all the shit years we had. But we need to get it together or we won’t even win the division.

I totally agree if we don't get out offense back on track its gonna be a long year. Our defense is good but it's not the 85 bears.

The O is still creaky, but we did play three solid D's in a row. By midseason, the two new OL starters should be thoroughly integrated with the incumbent starters. The D is coming along fine.

We probably need to play a lower tier team to help the O find its groove.

McCoy plays for the Panthers now

Gholston Vita Vea and Suh and Nasssib and David at inside linebackers. Decent players and we get Blythe back and Demby can sit down as we get Edwards more prepared to help out who gets hurt next on the inside. We have a backup center and just glad we escaped Cleveland playing Demby. It was a big risk as Havenstein started to help him out and got beat himseld as he did last week against Cam Jordan. Lots of good pass rushers in this league. Miles garrett is one of the best speed and power guys and we don't play them again. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are the TD makers and Winstons favorite targets we need to prepare for next. Davis at ILB will be a good run stopper and tackler.

I do feel like this could have been a bit of a trap game too btw. We just got that HUGE win vs our NFC rivals. Then hey let's go play the Browns with a secondary full of backups and an OL that is a sieve. Have to think the Rams going in were supremely confident maybe too much so.

I don't think they were prepared for the crowd noise in the first half. I expect the O to play more crisp next week at home.
