Sorry, but McVay hasn’t been figured out and Goff is not a has-been.

A couple of fluke plays, 21 gifted points, and a completely dominated team gets a win. Yes it sucked, but let’s call it like it is.

The Dodgers and Lakers both lost 1st games of playoff series on their way to their Championships. Shyte happens. We just witnessed the 1 time out of 10 this team would beat us.

If yards were points....

The D played well enough to win, the O and special teams did not.

Not sure I buy into those stats. Once the phins got up by 21, it looked like they were willing to give up underneath stuff all day. Our offense has always been able to put up yds.....its scoring that seems to be the problem these days.

If Everett doesn't drop that pass, I believe we would have had a strong chance to at least tie the game.

The drive before that drive and that drive showed the Rams figured out how to attack the Cover 0 blitz.

One time the Dolphins did that in the last drive, Goff threw a really quick WR screen to Kupp and he gained 20 yards on it.

I think they could have done that all day against the Cover 0 blitz that the Dolphins were playing.

And I hope they return the favor by getting 3 gift TDs from the Cardinals this upcoming weekend.

Yep we needed the screen game early to slow down that ridiculous pass rush. Sending the house every obvious passing situation should be a recipe for disaster.

One of the weirdest games I’ve seen. The rams defense basically shutout the Dolphins. STs TD and defensive return TD. The two dolphins offensive TDs were off turnovers on a very short field. One of which being the 1 yard line.

We destroyed them. Turnovers were what killed us.

Also we've never been able to just impose our will when needed, so I'd love to see some improvement on times the system breaks down, but I'm not too alarmed by yesterday.

The game turned on this play. About to score to go up 14-7, instead, we're down 7-14. 1/2 of a quarter later, we're down 28-7 on another scoop and (almost) score, and a punt return TD.

I have 2 questions on this play. Why on Earth doesn't Hendo chip or block? It's a TD if he does. Even if he doesn't do this, why doesn't Goff throw to WIDE OPEN crosser? Even pre-snap, this would be wide open by design. Look where the D starts out.

I blame Halloween. This 1/2 quarter was conjured by some voodoo BS.

Hedo was like that guy at work who says "not my job" and just lets Goff get killed.

Either Goff was still sleepy or he thought the blitzer would be picked up. Usually you throw to the side of where the blitz is coming from. So he missed both things-knowing there would be an unblocked blitzer and throwing to the hot receiver quickly. This was a rough lesson for Goff but it will hopefully make him better in the long run

Combo of Hendo not chipping and Goff's first read apparently being Reynolds (I think that's who is on bottom of screen) so his eyes are pointed the wrong way. By the time he isn't looking that way he's getting decapitated. I'm not sure HAvenstein couldn't have laid a hand as well before turning inside. The game was a class in how quickly a game can get away from you because of just a few opportunities by the other team.

Fluke was that the Fins ONLY got 4 turnovers. Goff played much worse than the stats showed. Miami dropped at least three more picks. They called cover zero over and over and Goff had no answer,.

I respectfully disagree. McVay had an answer. A wide open Reynolds that after a quick throw walks untouched into the endzone.

I think this is on Goff for not seeing this pre-snap and of course noticing the blitz. If that guy didn't blitz, Reynolds is still wide open, and a releasing Hendo is also open and down to the 1 yard line or scores with a juke.

Again, bad juju in the air as evidenced by the next 7 minutes of that quarter.
