So… you’re saying execution matters too?

Just to be clear.i
nah was talking about scheme....

scheme was fine for the raiders until the play to Jefferson... which made no sense (just as baker commented)

Is that based on anything other than a Gut Feeling.
Staffords wife had a brain tumor and had brain surgery. She has always been really vocal about concussions and their severity in the past and now again this year with Staffords multiple concussions shes been talking a lot about it. Here is a quote from her:

If you have listened to my podcast at all, you know how a big a deal it is to me. The head is not something to be messed with and I hope as this sport develops, so does the concern for head health and the research around it,” Kelly wrote in an Instagram story “And no, I’m not ok,” she added. “I have every emotion running through me. Concerned, angry, sad, tired, all of them.”

I don’t see stafford going the brady route and picking football over his family. He won a superbowl. He already accomplished what he came here for. He has his wife and kids and I get the sense he may ride off into the sunset.

there sure is a lot of debate about the raiders coverage but no one is commenting about Jefferson going up against tight coverage and taking the ball away on a perfect throw from baker i would like to give kudos to Jefferson, tu tu and Skow. i thought all three done a great job along with baker, Wagner and gains. about my only complaint is i would like to see a lot more of Williams at running back. also why when Havenstein was getting killed didn't, we give him some tight end help that also goes for any line man that is getting killed consistently give them some help.

Higbee & Havenstein were my biggest disappointments last night and blocking help would have been justified. Besides the dropped balls, Higbee just isn't a good blocker, and I've already stated a preference for trading him, preferably prior to the draft. McVay's reluctance to promote Roger Carter for TE/HB blocking & special teams play is a head scratcher.

If you give Evans help, he will just push the help into the QB

Cant really trade Higbee though, would accelerate his restructure dead cap and I doubt they would get much more than a 5th round pick.
I find the TE situation with the Rams entirely puzzling, Higbee has always been mediocre to decent, although fans love to point to that 4 game stretch where he dominated.
Maybe the Rams will be able to trade up for a change and get their hands on Michael Mayer in this years draft

Was fun as hell watching and reacting along with everyone last night. God damn did we all need that.
Played with heart and fire in that second half. That's all most of us want to see, win or lose.

Does Amazon have the game available for replay??

I'd still make that move to trade him. Hopkins will become a free agent as well as Higbee following the 2023 season, so being that we know what Higbee is all about already, I'd rather get something for him now as opposed to getting nothing later. Starting Hopkins next year may not produce better overall results, but I'd like to see him get many more snaps before completely dismissing them both after the season.
I see Michael Mayer as a 1'st Round prospect, little chance for the Rams, ... I'm liking Or.St. TE Luke Musgrave with our 3'rd round pick, after taking an OL in the 2'nd. jmo.

I've been having fun seeing Tutu make plays. I'm proud as hell for him.

As a dude that's talked so much shit on him, I'd eat a buffet of crow in front of him.

He should not be at OLB they abused him running to the outside towards him a lot today. Great motor and heart but he's not an OLB.

IMO

I wholeheartedly and respectfully disagree. Hoecht is learning the position and the announcer was wrong in that he’s no longer 300#, but has been slimming down to better fill the OLB role.

Yeah, he got burned on edge responsibilities, but that will happen to new OLBs learning the position against pro offenses meant to force a decision by that OLB.

Crazy stat… after AD, the fastest get off from the DL… is Hoecht. So he’s got the physicality and just needs more reps.

Also, when he sets the edge and bull rushes, he gets amazing push. Yes, he needs to develop moves and that will assuredly be a focus in the offseason, but he’s already better overall than Lewis or Hollins.

I’m excited for his future and if there’s any time to have growing pains, this time in this season is it… I expect much of the young man next season…

Every single current and former player and current and former defensive or head coach I've seen comment on that final drive has said exactly that. Yet we have a 116 page thread of bitching about him and his coverage. We get a half dozen weekly threads bitching about him and his soft coverage. And here we have everybody who actually played and coached the NFL disagreeing with all the venting on Morris.
They are criticizing the Raiduhs for their use of press man in THAT SITUATION. Apples and oranges to what I see people upset about with Raheem and the soft shell coverage that he deploys almost exclusively.

I'm watching this shit again on NFLN right now. The stupid 61 yard FG just happened.
