Man, I miss having a RB like ED. He was a threat to take it to the house on any carry. One mistake on D and you were absolutely fucked against ED, as the run against the Jets showed.

Honorable mention should go to Jackie Slater for shoving that POS Mark Gastineau.

That recent Gastineau video of him confronting Favre was pretty sad. But Gastineau was always a turd, even though the poor guy might have CTE by now.

Same game as the Dickerson 85-yard-TD.

ESPN recently put-out a 30-for-30 about the Sack Exchange.
Gastineau came across terribly ... took little accountability and showed little remorse. Came across as bitter, selfish, delusional about the facts and truths and ... in the end ... very, very sad.

Man that ED run. Vision, grace, power, balance and speed. Just awesome.
It was but I always found it interesting that for all his greatness and athletic gifts, for his entire career, Dickerson only had two runs during the regular season, that were in excess of sixty yards.

It might have been all that extra gear he wore—stuff gets heavy after 20-30 yards or so.

Sorry no link but I think Johhny Hekker had like a 90 yard punt against the Jets when Fisher was coach.
That’s the play I was thinking of when I read the OP.
I remember the general attitude on the jets sideline was one of defeat, because their offense was just as bad and there was no way they were gonna go the length of the field and score.

Crazy to think Johnny Hekker was the overall MVP during the Fisher tenure.

It was pathetic. Mark came across as a whiny retard. Should've been more low key and more discreet. "Cmon Brett... how much you got paid for layin down like that?" Jab him a bit but don't whine, just made himself look bad. He's one of those wow what happened guys. I didn't like the play either but Favre handled this well. He was like "Oh gosh I didn't mean it." (inside thinking wow this guy is toast)
