40 years 2 months 2 days 2 hours 3 minutes. So I make the cut!

FUCK THESE UNIFORMS!

Honestly the worst thing about them is the gradual numbers on the home jersey. Really? Wtf? That is so fucking ugly. And it’s not on both it’s on one. So why have it at all. This is why gun to my head I’d choose the bone grey one.

Ps does this mean i barely qualify to be an old bastard now? Shit..

Nah.....you're still a pup. (Heh, anyone younger than me is still a pup.)

Pleased. Not excited though. I kinda wanted to be excited by them.

I see the new uniforms from the St Louis era brought up multiple times and they fit into my feelings on these as well. I didn't like those and just like these I didn't spend my money on them. Never changed whether I rooted for the team at all. People worry too much about whether some of us like them or not like it changes our fandom. The home uniforms could be good to the vast majority of us with two tweaks. The grey will never be good just like those new uniforms from the St Louis era.

"Progressive" is a word some people like to use to make others feel like a stick in the mud for not going along with what ever damn fool idea comes along.
Every cliche/saying has its equal and opposite cliche. Seriously.

"Discretion is the better part of valor."

OR "Fortune favors the bold."

Just can't stand it when some ppl try to "win an argument" by spouting a cliche, as if it backs up their line of reasoning.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not arguing against any individual poster or referring to any specific post. Just randomly expressing my distrust for cliches in general....!

That's a good point. Thinking about it now, yeah, I wanted to really love them and that's what's worst about these. They're ok, not bad, not with hating. The blue ones even look good. But damn it I don't love them. They don't hit that mark that makes me excited to see the Rams in them out makes me want to go buy a jersey right now.

They're just... good enough.

52. I will say our helmets are going to fuckin ROCK. Love what they did with them.

But the rest... I think they'll tweak the jerseys down the road and get the look perfect. Better shoulders on both jerseys and a blue stripe on the bone pants and I'd have zero complaints. (y)

I’ll equate it to a new song. If it’s catchy and appealing the very first time you hear it, you will likely grow tired of it after a number of listening (e.g. ‘Hey Macarena’). Even better is a song that has some edge and take a number of listens to really appreciate it but once does it’s timeless (e.g. ‘Hey Hey My My ‘ Neil Young).

My only problem is they should've listened to and responded to fans more in the design, instead of Nike. They probably could've nailed the modernization.
Honestly, Nike is usually pretty good at design. I think other outside influences may have watered the design down. But that’s just a thought. It’s hard to know.
