Could that even happen??

Under normal circumstances, I'd say that we'd be getting the short end of that deal - because David is 30 and only under contract for 2020. When factoring that in, I think it's a relatively even deal, because David will want paid after this year. Bucs probably won't re-sign a 31 year old LB for the amount that he will want (neither will we).

But with Brady, they're thinking that they're Super Bowl contenders now - does the move make sense? Not sure.

It's got to be uncomfortable for the Rams brass to be negotiating right now. With a deadline approaching, what possible leverage do we have, especially with an outright release a possibility?

I just wish they'd get it the fuck over with. I dislike losing TG enough as it is. Just yank that fuckin bandaid off please.

And I am curious what the financial implications are. Seems like there's some nuance to this that we are not aware of we'll see.

I feel like gouging my eye out but that would hurt too much. I’m going to go see if my next door neighbor is home.

Let's get it over with.

I really thought the Rams would keep him. Hard to replace 14 TDs in an off-year.
Too much money, health is an issue. Not many people want to have to load manage a 25 year old running back with a cap hit of 17 million dollars.

Not all that sure why LA is in such a hurry to dump Cooks and Gurley given their limited draft picks and money to replace them...

Maybe there's another 1 sack a year backup edge rusher they wanna throw 10-15 million bucks at?

I saw on one site that the Rams are moving on from Gurley because the Rams are going to a throw first offense. Have any of you guys heard any pronouncement that we are now a throw first offense?

I was under the impression we already were a throw-first offense based off of how many times I was begging McVay to run the ball last year. Either way, Todd was a decent chunk of our passing offense two seasons ago and that fell off hard last year.

That makes sense that’s had always been McVay MO and even as a Rams Head coach he has a very strange tendency to get away from the run for quarters at a time.

I just love annual told you so posts. You throw so much random and outlandish crap against the wall once in a while it works. Especially when you twist comments. I don’t think financially it would make sense. I don’t think we should create a hole in the roster at that position. I think he’s better and will be better going forward than you and others are giving him credit for? I also think our GM is smarter than to trade a guy and take on a big negative cap hit in doing it while not helping the team. Now do me a favor and stop with these silly I told you so quotes especially if you can’t even get your facts straight.

My random crap is my believe on The Rams moves. I’m a heck of a lot more right than you have given me credit for. Gurley needs to go!! He says the right things, but he is a cancer in the lockeroom.
Mcvay loves Divas, but enough is enough.
You can tell me so. Throwing it out there.
