Can’t say I’m all that surprised.

Here’s the bright side - no way this is how Stafford ends his career. This, if anything, confirms for me that he’s preparing for 2023.

He should enter next season healthier than he’s been in a long time.

Rest up, Matthew…and see you in September.

Stafford took a beating during the 21 games of the 2021 Championship season that did not end until this year back in mid-February.

This provides #9 a real Holiday Season with his wife & daughters that he has never had before.

Heals the soul for what is ailing you!

I want #9 back fully healthy & ready to play again in the worst way.

It makes little if any difference at this point. Honestly it wasn’t fun watching Stafford get thrashed behind that garbage injury riddled line and zero running game. Hopefully this is a reality check to coach to fix what is wrong and missing. No more bs draft picks. No run game no play action no execution=a beat up damged quarterback. The Atwell pick reminds me of the Trung Canidate pick under Martz. Almost sorta cocky and a throw away. Its gonna be very pivotal offseason.

Matthew Stafford has been placed on injured reserve. The Rams' QB has not played since Week 11. He is eligible to return to the active roster in Week 17.

I think shutting him down now increases the chances he returns next year.

Kelly is most worried about head trauma, and it seems he's escaped a major scare so far.

He can plausibly say, "I'm fine!"
