Well, Les with 100,000 capacity you have to factor that in that even with 70,000 there will be empty seats. Overall,this does not bother me. The Los Angeles Rams will fill the new palatial venue that ESK is building and with Sean McVay leading the way for LA the Rams will continue to gain fan support IMHO.

I understand that. But there were holes in the crowd and that means the seats either weren't sold or the person who bought the seat didn't show up. I'm not talking about the part of the stadium where they don't sell the seats. I'm talking about sold seating areas that were littered with empty seats.

Oh man, I forgot to mention, they always introduce celebrities that are in attendance and this time it was Gary Busey and Kevin Dillon! Gary looked crazy as ever, God love him. He's a Rams fan!

Good for you, we who have lost a lot of money trying to get even close to face value and failing can finally recoup some losses although I will still be way in the red. The real problem isn't charging over face value hell I have twice tried to GIVE AWAY tix on this a Ram forum and had no takers. Those of us who have endured bad teams and still traveled to support them are the solution

We go in about 30 minuets before kick off and there are literally like about 10k+ fans trying to get in at that time. It’s crazy packed. Sometimes we miss the kick off because of it. Time to start going in about 45-1 hour before kickoff.

A majority of the people who bought tickets last year were scalpers and resellers who lost money last year and did not renew this year. Hopefully next year we get real fans buying season tickets.

Brokers will get back in the LA football game when the new stadium opens I'm certain of it. With two team playing it wouldn't make sense not to try again.

@den-the-coach yup winning draws a crowd and that's true in ANY market more now than ever with the costs associated with attending a game.

Transplants don't buy season tickets as they are only after 1 game a year maximum (not enough to cause an 80-20 split). The team should have procedures to ensure that scalpers are not a part of the season ticket holders. Scalpers will sneak through, but if a season ticket holder is selling over a certain percentage of their tickets, they should not be able to renew.

I doubt the Rams are going to actively work on this until the new stadium is built.

Actually it is still true, you will always have a high percentage of fans for other teams. Corporate season ticket holders giving tix as perks. The only way to skew the percentages is national popularity. The Lakers are a national team and still get their fare share. The Dodgers, Angels, Kings etc get a high percentage of opposing fans in the stands. Yes it depends on the team, city of origin and popularity but season tix sale will only effect it so much. That is big city life in a major metro melting pot

On January 5, 2015, Stokbridge Capital the owners of the Hollywood Park Land Company announced that it had partnered with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment to add the northern 60-acre parcel to the rest of the development project and build a multi-purpose 80,000-seat stadium designed for the NFL.[18] The project will include the stadium of up to 100,240 seats (including standing room-only seats)

So, 80k seats for the NFL config and the ability to max out at just over 100k for events like the Super Bowl and Olympics and National Championship College game, if they so desire.

There are plenty of large markets where you don't have 80%-20% splits. Anything else is just excuses.
