With pick 151 the Miami Dolphins select

Kelvin Harmon, WR, N.C. State

View attachment 28806

Height: 6-2. Weight: 221. Arm: 32.50. Hand: 9.50.
40 Time: 4.60. Three Cone: 7.15.
Bench: 18. Vertical: 32.5. Broad: 9-9.

3/7/19: Harmon had 81 receptions for 1,186 yards and seven touchdowns in 2018. He is a a good run-after-the-catch receiver with toughness and generally reliable hands, plus he runs quality routes. Teams had speed concerns about Harmon, which validated them with a slow 40 time at the combine.

8/28/18: According to NFL teams' preseason data provided by team sources, Harmon checks in at 6-foot-2, 218 pounds. He is said to run the 40 in 4.55 seconds. He also has 32.5-inch arms, 8.88-inch hands, and with a 75.5-inch wing span, per this data.

Harmon made a lot of clutch catches and was a good receiver for Ryan Finley during the 2017 season. He totaled 69 receptions for 1,017 yards with four touchdowns. He is a thick receiver who has nice hands and runs quality routes. He is more of a possessional Z - flanker - receiver for the NFL.

With pick 151 the Dolphins select ...

David Sills, WR, West Virginia

D5BE5432-0A8E-460E-8A2F-497CEAB98AAA.jpeg

Height: 6-3. Weight: 211. Arm: 32.00. Hand: 8.88.
40 Time: 4.57. Three Cone: 6.97.
Bench: 14. Vertical: 37.5. Broad: 9-9.

3/7/19: Sills caught 65 passes for 986 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2018. He is a big receiver who is a jump-ball, 50/50 target, but he will struggle to separate in the NFL. Sills had a solid week of practice at the Senior Bowl and a respectable performance at the combine.

8/28/18: Sills was very productive in 2017 with 60 receptions for 980 yards with 18 touchdowns. He has mismatch size and runs well enough to challenge college defenses downfield. Sills is an excellent red-zone weapon with his size, hands, and leaping ability. The big question will be if he is fast enough to separate from NFL-caliber corners. Speed issues could push him lower.

With the 153rd pick in the ROD mock draft the Washington Redskins select:

Mitch Hyatt OT Clemson

Mitch-Hyatt.jpg

A little surprised this guy made it to this pick. Four year starter on some very good teams. Needs to get a little stronger but will have a year or two in the weight room behind Trent Williams and will get some good tutoring from an excellent tackle.

With the 156th pick of the ROD Mock Draft the Denver Broncos select…

Daylon Mack, DT, Texas A&M

6’1”, 336 lbs
8976105.jpg

Daylon Mack is a solid mid-round gem on the defensive line. At 6-1 and 336 pounds, he is a space-easting nose tackle that has the perfect skill set for a 3-4 nose tackle. Last season was his first as a year-long starter, and he produced with 32 tackles, 10 for a loss, and 5.5 sacks. He ran a 5.1-second 40-yard dash at the combine and put up 30 reps on the bench, so he brings some needed athleticism and strength to the position.

There will be areas he needs to improve upon early in his career, but he could potentially serve as a rotational tackle early for the Broncos, which would be good value at this juncture of the draft.

With the 158th pick the Buffalo Bills select: Evan Worthington, S Colorado

usa_today_11390731.0.jpg

By Lance Zierlein

NFL Comparison
John Johnson

Overview
Versatile defensive back with the tools and traits for catch disruption as a future NFL starter. Worthington's value to teams could depend on where they project him since he's played all over the field. He has the size and athleticism to handle a variety of man-cover targets from the slot, but his length, ball skills and range could be coveted as a deep safety. He could use more toughness as a run defender, but his traits and skill level might make him a future starter if his football character doesn't backslide.
Strengths
  • Offers versatility as interchangeable safety and as a big nickel slot
  • Comes into camp with ready-made NFL size
  • Twitched-up movements for early response
  • Wide net tackler who runs the alley effectively
  • Rangy and covers ground quickly
  • Smooth pedal from single-high
  • Above-average ball-tracking and finds proper positioning
  • Hips are fluid allowing for unencumbered transitions
  • Carries quality play speed
  • Gets up high to challenge and catch at high-point
  • Solid burst challenging the passing lane
  • Closes and tackles quickly before YAC damage can be done
Weaknesses
  • Work ethic has been an issue in the past
  • Suspended for entire 2016 season
  • Finesse playing style for his size
  • Gears down into contact
  • More likely to grab and drag than stick and drive as finisher
  • Keeps eyes glued on downfield target rather than getting head around
  • Tilted off-balance by stem baits in man coverage
  • Missed time as a freshman and as a senior with concussions
Sources Tell Us

"On tape, I thought his best position might be high (safety) but he's so big and quick that I'll bet he ends up getting a shot in big-nickel packages to help with athletic tight ends." -- Defensive backs coach for AFC team

I hope all is well with @shaunpinney, he has been away from ROD since Wednesday, we might need to consider a GM by committee approach until his return hopefully soon. He is the GM for the Seahawks, Lions, and Saints. Seahawks are on the clock.
