Must be one of three I ignore, added a third yesterday.
I got to give myself a little props as I don't think I have any one on ignore. I really just glance at those type of posts and move on. I totally get the need for the option though :laugh1::laugh2:

Saints fans said that the year we go to the Super Bowl and lose to Pats. One call doesn't decide the game.
The difference is the Saints had multiple opportunities after that blown call to still win the game, the multiple non call against Puka was the last play our offense was on the field. Let’s not forget that last years Super Bowl was decided by a VERY ticky tacky DPI call against the Eagles.

I haven't been here that long, but I don't have anyone on ignore either.

I quite enjoy reading stupid posts- they bring a smile to my face.
Gotta agree there. I don't mind the occasional person losing it and find it entertaining at times. Other times I literally shrug and move on. With that said, I also don't hold it against anyone when they lose it (unless it gets really personal) since I feel that anyone is capable of it, myself included. We are fans after all and when passion is introduced into the equation, it can lead to some interesting responses :laugh1::laugh2:

Goff may be erratic under pressure, but pressuring him might not be that easy. I know some people preferred a more aggressive approach.

Every time I see that X logo I always try to click the post closed. Instead, I end up opening up a whole new page.

I honestly thought that McVay would have a couple plays with a Wentz run/ pass option in the red zone. Didn’t happen though.

2 of 7 (39.6%)
7 yards, 0 tds, 0 int

Well, one of the few times they pressured him he threw a backwards toss to his RT...So yeah, needed to do a little more of that.

Yeah pressuring a QB is always a good thing. Unfortunately it's not as simple as blitzing. According to NGS Goff leads the league in passing yards against blitzes. On that play they only rushed 4, Hoecht drops into coverage and Jones rushes, the PA motion also helped.

Goff last night with no pressure was 22/22 277 yards

With pressure 6 times - 0/5 and a fumble 0.0 passer rating.

Not saying it has to be a blitz... just saying the obvious that they need better pass rushers to get there with 4.

Roster caught up to us in this one. Needed a perfect game or damn near to win this one by the offense and they couldn't get it done. Defense simply didn't have the horses.

It's better that it happened early vice in a week, even if it hurts more this way, because we were gonna get eliminated. This way we get the higher pick. But yes of course I'm still pissed and can't even open youtube or twitter as they're just gonna piss me off even more. Oh well. Will be offseason soon and hopefully SF gets knocked out so we can have one more celebration thread. :part:

Yeah, the hit on Higbee was doubtlessly legal.

But it should not be.

Very dangerous play. Players have been wanting it eliminated for decades. Many say they would rather take a vicious blow to the head than get cut down like that.

It is strange that this type of hit is still allowed with how the NFL has been bending over backwards to favour the offense and, allegedly, is all about player safety.
That's probably exactly why the hit is still legal. They can only take so much away from what a defender can do.

We still had a opportunity to win the gm. The defense simply couldn't get the stop.

This is what we should be talking about. Our rz offense was not it.

Stafford is a man possessed. He played at a Hall of Fame level all down the stretch, with his best game yet this season coming in our loss this past Sunday at Ford Field. I am still so angry the Rams lost because we deserved better and easily outplayed the Lions. He is showing absolutely NO signs of slowing down. If we can protect him, the odds are good he can play several more years at least at a very high level. Although even the best protected QBs can still get injured - it just takes one hit - so knock on wood.

He is as clutch as they come. Is there anyone better under pressure ? The Rams Super Bowl win was one of the best QB playoff runs I have ever seen. Every game was a come from behind win, against stout defence, with high difficulty clutch throw after high difficulty clutch throw.

I never fully appreciated Stafford until I saw him game in game out. The dude is all-time great. He should be a slam dunk Hall of Fame inductee, IMO. But his years in Detroit will sadly make it far more uncertain than it should be, unless the Rams and #9 can win another Super Bowl.

The dude is easily a top 5 QB in this league today even at his age. Who would you take ahead of him? Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, and I will even say Lamar Jackson are all fair to argue for. After that? Nobody even comes close IMO. If you are taking age into consideration, as opposed to strictly what they can offer you today, I think Stroud, Herbert, and Hurts are all also fair to prefer on the basis that you might get another decade or more out of them than you would from Stafford.

I've been worried about his health due to the hard miles he's wearing. But then again he is only 35. Still has a hell of an arm. Just needs that roster built around him and he might get another one for us. :trophy:
