Perhaps but when you are making the tackle don't know what he heard or timing. I've seen a lot worse not called. Good thing it didn't hurt us.

Agreed. I think the smart play would've been just to hold him until he could confirm that he was down. But like you said, we made it out !!
 
Ok, we gotta get something here. I want a TD but a FG would make it 2 score game. In any case just run some clock with Gurley.
