Yeah, I have thought that myself. I am just thinking if they wait until 90 to pick a QB, the guys we all like will be gone. So if they want a young QB with NFL arm talent, he will be the guy who is left. Now I did read he did play hurt this year...a torn oblique, and gutted through it.Yep. Ewers looks like a poor man's Goff.
Should have lost to Arizona State in Peach bowl and lost in Semi-final, not FinalAnd his team did reach the Title game and gave Ohio St a tough game, so it's not like he shit the bed.
Oh yeah... I was thinking that was the championshipShould have lost to Arizona State in Peach bowl and lost in Semi-final, not Final

Every QB in this draft looks like a poor man's (insert NFL QB here).Yep. Ewers looks like a poor man's Goff.
I'd be okay with that dice roll late in the 6th.Yeah Ewers could certainly end up hitting, this stuff is a dice roll. But dudes who look scared in the pocket bug the shit out of me.
Imagine Ewers doesnt get drafted until the 6th? Doubt it but still. The cat could have gotten between 5-10 mill in NIL money had he stayed in NCAA 1 more year. Now he's at best a poor man's somebodyI'd be okay with that dice roll late in the 6th.
I’d throw receiver in there too.IMHO, the Rams 1st pick should be either of the best CB or TE available. Then go all in for QB next year, this year is Superbowl or bust!
Watched him enough to realize he will be a heartbreaker, plus he has less mobility then Stafford.Yeah Ewers could certainly end up hitting, this stuff is a dice roll. But dudes who look scared in the pocket bug the shit out of me.
You definitely value mobility higher than I do. And I do prefer it in a QB all things being equal. Meaning the QB has to be able to win from the pocket first and foremost. So even if Ewers was some great threat running the ball I still would not like him because he has jittery pocket presence. That's a disqualifying element for a QB in my book.Watched him enough to realize he will be a heartbreaker, plus he has less mobility then Stafford.
I'll see what I can do when I have time.Any chance we can get a master list pinned to the top of this thread with each subsequent guy added?
I am not looking for anyone like Hurts, Jackson or even Allen. Looking for a QB that occasionally can run the RPO and is actually threat to run and if the play breaks down on 3rd & 8, can get me 9 yards. You definitely value mobility higher than I do. And this is why Dart is going to be a star. Btw.![]()

Goes back to Martz for me and him saying the QB must be the biggest competitor on the field. How right he was. Standing up in the pocket and not fleeing as your instincts tell you to requires courage which is not something you can teach a dude. Some have it and some do not. The ones who do not can fake it during the regular season, but at some point in that playoff sched who they are costs them.
