This 1000%1. Maintain gap integrity on runs. Set the edge.
2. Put Philly into 3rd and longs. Make Hurts beat you with his arm.
3. On offense, get out to an early lead and win time of possession. Lots of runs and passes into the short and intermediate. Get Philly into situations where they need to win the game with Hurts in the pocket.
Literally the key to the game outside of putting at least 20 points on them. That's my magic number for this game. Our average in the season was 22. Philly's was 27. Worried about the weather.
Weather:
This one won’t be as cold as the K.C. game, a welcome development for a Rams squad used to playing indoors. The temperatures are supposed to be north of freezing, around 38 degrees, with winds around 10 mph.
The forecast here shows 30% possible rain/snow. The prior day had a 48% chance of rain. So, keep an eye on these storm systems. Expect offenses to be further affected if they roll into Sunday rather than Saturday.
The thing that has me the most worried is the weather and the counter to weather is running the football. Philly is a running team, they have a premier RB and damned good Qb who can run. They are a better running team than us.
This one has me worried.
