Nope. It's that you dismiss any positives about TuTu while making sure to carp about the Rams not taking your guy. It's fine to think the Rams should have taken a C instead of a small WR. But the dismissive attitude toward someone who actually IS a Ram is grating to me. Hell. I wanted a center too. But it's done.
Saying you hope you're wrong about TuTu is IMO protective posturing. You can bag on him and then fall back on that statment.
In the long run, I do believe you simply want what's best for the Rams. I just can't see the want to ignore or dismiss what our "midget" is doing while harping on something because it didn't happen like you hoped. It's done.
Calling someone that’s a midget a ‘midget’ is not degrading, especially when it concerns NFL standards.
I didn’t hear one person outside of our resident Cardinal fan objecting to me calling Kyler Murray a midget. Why? Because he’s a fan of that team, the facts are that midgets don’t project well at the Pro level and are often injured and not helpful to their team to live up to their high draft statuses.
That’s ‘my’ opinion based off of experience and if i go by percentages as I bet quite often that’s what my analytical eye tells me, now as a Rams fan I do hope I’m very wrong and he avoids the injury bug and lights it up, especially against our division rivals.
Unfortunately, I don’t think the odds play in the favor of that happening for a full 17 games and playoffs, not so much because ‘my guy’ wasn’t ‘taken’. The draft is over and the choices are made, even though I wish we went a different way I don’t get paid by any NFL team, in which my opinions or thoughts are as valid and useful as any other fan on this board or any other team board for that matter and I realize that.
But just as players are concerned, it is very reassuring when you read things the right way of how you thought they would play out.
