That's the meat of your contender list right there.

Couple new teams on it in the AFC, so that side of the fence may yield a strange Super Bowl opponent. Also I think you have Denver due to the strength of their defense in the mix (they're just behind us in points at 17.5 per). I wouldn't rule out the Carpetbaggers due to Harbaugh either, though they're a darkhorse at best.

What is interesting about the AFC is whether Buffalo is one of the contenders. Their points against are middle of the pack and in the playoffs it's gonna be hard to expect Allen to overcome four consecutive opponents on the road who all have good defenses but can score on your offense rather easily. So I think they're a potential favorite if their defense can get hot down the stretch. But I don't see that happening.

AFC playoffs are going to be a fun watch. NFC are going to be stressful as hell.

I dunno boss. Yes he'll be 30 -- in 3 more years. But, atm, he's 4th in sacks w/ 1 less game than 2 of the others above him. He arguably has less treadwear than the others -- he was 25 when he was drafted, and he's 27 now. He's ascending, with 9.0 sacks with 8 games left to play; 1 sack / game = 17.0 sacks. He had 8.0 & 7.5 sacks his 1st 2 years.
Brian Burns? never had more than 11.0 in his career.
T. J. Watt? averaged 12.5 sacks in 9 seasons.
I think it's entirely within the realm of possibility that we could get a 1st for him this offseason.

Or…

Get 1st round production out of him while we still have a veteran QB and a top flight head coach…

Lamar is the best fantasy QB ever, IMO. But he doesn't seem to play at the same level come playoff time. IMO.

SO - what your saying is The RAMS got lucky to play Baltimore when Lamar was hurt.

I’d say I lost a huge beat when Keenum beat the Rams & Once again the Leg missed a FG.Just like that last Niners game that season & Gurley sat out,but played in the all pro game.

Better yet when JALEN RAMSEY pulled his stunt again.I remember when Jimmy G brought the Niners back again in 2019 XMAS time.Wade had AD99 on the bench, and TAYLOR RAPP got caught on the line of scrimmage??
In 2022(21) season) Rapp & Ramsey were fighting & Jalen with the rest of the Ravens were hurt.

The Rams won, beat the Niners & won the Superbowl. Thanks Eric Weedle.I think that was when Raheem called him ? Not sure if he was practicing then ?

Some great stats here for our Rams!

In terms of non-flattering stats, does anyone know which teams have conceded the most FGs over 50 yards? It feels like every week teams are hitting that against us, if not from 60+. Part of that is teams are forced to try long FGs vs. LA. But it also feels like they rarely miss. At the end of last week's game. I was really worried that Myers would successfully hit from very long range, for the 2nd time in the game! Thankfully, he missed, and the Rams secured the W!

What was that fart we smelled in that 3 point second half for 2 quarters from the offense .
Wasn't pretty win or not. Mevis making his 2 field goals was though.
