Raheem Morris should be back with the Rams for his third season as the team’s defensive coordinator. The Indianapolis Colts announced on Tuesday that they’ve hired Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen as their next head coach, passing over Raheem Morris and others.
Morris was one of the finalists for the job, interviewing with the Colts multiple times. He was a strong candidate again this offseason but will unfortunately need to wait to land a head coaching position.

The Cardinals are the only team still looking for a head coach and Morris has not interviewed with them, so it’s safe to say he’ll be back with the Rams in 2023. Even if he were to draw interest from other teams looking for a defensive coordinator, Sean McVay would need to allow him to interview, since it’s a lateral move and not a promotion.

Morris won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams a year ago, assembling a defense that was led by Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald and eventually Von Miller. Things didn’t go as well as expected in 2022, with the Rams finishing 5-12, but that wasn’t on Morris.
McVay should be thrilled to have his highly regarded defensive coordinator back on the staff in 2023.

What he did in 2019 in itself was impressive.Bobby Evans was better his rookie season than almost every other season.Add Corbett was LG & Edwards was RG to finish the season.
Was looking for something to post because of Aaron Kromer.Just to prove or figure out my believes.

—PISSES ME OFF,or maybe just satisfies me that I know more than 98% of any Rams Fan!! True-that.
Even this post I can question or add to,but the reach is solid & WAY BETTER than I ever take the time to do,or smart(lazy) enough.

When I started out looking for 2023 coaching staff this was the #1 post.

This whoever he is is not all that informed & this is where a majority of fans would go to for information. He doesn’t even know the firings.

I also question the quote & what game that was from ? My best guess is 2021,the last game The Rams lost?
How far off am I by just looking at the photo? Oh & also for all Those FREAKING AZZ REPORTERS out there!! Do your JOB &’RESPECT the honest of The Rams & SEAN MCVAY.
He won’t always tell the truth, but that is only because of his INTEGRITY towards THE RAMS(players & organization) to keep certain things in HOUSE(Lockeroom). To protect team & players.

And Jourdan Rodrigue is also reporting that former NFL-player Mike Harris has been brought in to be an assistant DB-coach. Harris is only 34 so this sounds like a lower-level coaching-role.

The Pleasant addition makes me wonder what role Jimmy Lake will serve, as most of Lake's experience is also with defensive backs.

Safeties, perhaps, for Lake?

Either way, I love these hires. I've always liked Pleasant as a coach.
