Also gotta say that many of us who didn't like the idea of Simpson in round 1 acknowledged the Rams might take him. Not a fan all around of this approach but he's a Ram so as I promised prior I'm behind him now.
And if his presence on the staff keeps McVay around longer, well, it's worth it from that perspective I suppose. Preseason games should be fun too, and by God he'd better kick ass or else.
This is just not true. It’s not even close to being true. Stetson Bennett was more pro ready on his first day of OTAs than Simpson will be. That’s a fact. Simpson is a long term project. Stetson was taken because he started 60 games in college and Snead knew he could come in and hit the ground running if need be. He just had off the field stuff slow him down.

Surprised for sure. It will be fascinating, thank you Mr. Spock, how he looks in a McVay offense. 13th pick is high draft capitol and we chose to use it on the most important position. I don't hate it at all. Just surprised.
He's literally the same height as Warner and only like 4 lbs less than him.
I blame you guys for not listening to him that's where all this anger comes from. You should pay attention also pay attention when people say McVay loves a player.
I just think we could have gotten him later in the 1st. Who was getting him? The Cardinals? Jets? Idk man. It’s just hard to be excited about a guy that we MIGHT see in a few years. And the worst part is he’s not all that athletic. Just think Lemon was the best option.
