Hit the wife up last night:

Honey, let's go to Nashville

Her: sure, when?

Me: let's leave Friday night

Her: yeah...um no

Me: only a 16 hr drive ..we could catch a Rams game while we are there

Her: and miss Christmas with family...NO

Awesome. It's only a 6 hour drive for us and before the schedule came out I was like "we're going to that game" - and then the schedule came out..

Two weeks ago I came home and was like "(sigh)....alright babe, if you REALLY want to go to Nashville we can go." She got a chuckle out of that. But then I laid it out for her: leave Saturday morning, stay the night Saturday night, leave Sunday after the game and get home around 11pm.

She said we could - because my wife is awesome - but after thinking about it we decided we should skip it this year.

Except it is a bit of a "trap game".

Could be a letdown after the big win. But I'm not so sure. If it was a hard fought, close emotional win I could see it. But the game was over by halftime. Maybe too easy might be the only problem.

You know. I think I might go to the game. It's only about a 6 hour drive. This close to the game what's the best way to get guaranteed genuine tickets? NFL Ticket Exchange? It would probably work fine, but I'm hesitant to try the Les Baker method of just showing up before the game and buying tickets from a scalper.

I've used StubHub many many times and never had a single issue.

Nice.
Good positive attitude that makes more sense then being emotional over a huge win.

For some reason, I'm not as confident as I was going into last week.

I've thought about it and I think it may come down to non-conference games... the unfamiliarity of the opponent.

Division foes know each other like books... preparing for a team you rarely play seems more difficult.

I know there are tapes and all, but still - wish I felt more confident.
