Raiders Officially Introduce Team to Las Vegas

The Oakland Raiders are, for the second time, no more.

The franchise announced its official transition to the Las Vegas Raiders with a Twitter video Wednesday afternoon:

The introduction involved Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and Raiders owner Mark Davis addressing a crowd outside Allegiant Stadium, the team's new home:

Former and current Raiders helped to, literally, put the franchise's stake into Las Vegas:

The Raiders first relocated from Oakland to Los Angeles in 1982. They stayed in L.A. through the 1994 campaign before returning to Oakland.

The Raiders played their final home game on Dec. 15. The Jacksonville Jaguars left a bitter taste at the RingCentral Coliseum by mounting a 20-16 comeback victory. Fans expressed their displeasure by booing and throwing trash onto the field.

The Raiders, who finished 7-9 this season, haven't made the playoffs since 2016.

Wednesday's announcement coincided with the Raiders' last Super Bowl title in 1983:

The Raiders will hope to return to glory in Las Vegas.

Lol. They make it sound like 2016 is a 15 year playoff drought or something.

Considering the NFL shutout the Raiders, Mark Davis rebounded well, even though he's funny looking and now the Las Vegas Raiders have an epic venue and it appears their fan base is not upset over it.

I'm glad for Las Vegas, it truly a grand city if played properly and they've built something special, they have their Pirate in Gruden and their showgirl in Derek Dallas Carr.

you know what i think of this?

I cannot believe Mark Davis pays someone to cut his hair like that. I mean, really ... wtf dude?

That's the only thought i have about the raiders.
He flies to Florida, or maybe Texas or something, for that cut too. There's only ONE barber he trusts to pull off that difficult look.

Anyway gonna say it again: Raiders will kill it in Vegas. It's a match made in heaven for them IMO.

They'll sell out their home games and the other teams will have a hell of a time keeping their players focused on Saturday night before the game. :ROFLMAO:

Will definitely be interesting every time I go to Vegas now. I am sure prices will go up during the NFL season, but fortunately for me I go during the offseason/pre season only...
