First time watching Hoover from TCU. Early but so far looks good. Competitive guy 6’2 good arm and not an unathletic pocket passer - can move and some decent wheels. Not a runner QB whatsoever, but not a stiff/slow guy. Mayfield/purdy type maybe

I’d expect Allard to be a better passer by now being a 3rd year starter. Not sure he’s improved much (passer wise) over last year - which is concerning.

Robertson from Baylor has been impressive. Just hard to tell how much of it is his system; and how will translate to the NFL.

I think my favorite QBs so far have been Mendoza and Mateer.

LaNorris Sellers and Ty Simpson are really impressing me so far. Sellers will need to continue to develop as a passer, but he makes plenty of NFL throws in that offense. Athletically, he's an alien. Some of the things he does on the football field are absolutely insane. Athletically, he's a young Cam Newton. But he has better character imo.

Simpson isn't an elite talent. He has good, but not great, mobility and a good, but not elite, arm. What impresses me watching him are his precision, accuracy, and processing. He had a really shitty Week 1 start, but he's improved leaps and bounds in a short amount of time. With him being a first year starter, that's a really positive sign.

On the flip side, I have been very unimpressed by Garrett Nussmeier, Cade Klubnik, and Drew Allar.

Been on Sellers from the get go and also like his progression this year but yeah he needs to keep it up. Also yesterday was the first I'd watched Sellers and that release is amazing.

I agree completely with all of this.

I never saw Simpson until yesterday. I thought to myself how quickly he delivers the ball. He ain't slow but can use his legs if he needs to

Sellers is good too. He is one tough SOB. Knows where to distribute the ball and will run you over

So far this season in cfb, I like Sellers, Pribula (yesterdays game was just ok), Mendoza, Beck, and Simpson is becoming another favorite

Dante Moore is beginning to impress.
Let's see how he looks as the season progresses.
He's only a sophomore, and probably would want to stay for another year at Oregon, I'm thinking.
