Lol who cares. Duane Brown got absolutely manhandled and gave up that sack to Miller. Not really much Goff could do there.

Have to improve in holding the ball, while throwing nothing you can do, but he has to improve when they hit the ball in his hands, tough to practice because you don't want anyone hitting his throwing hand. My suggestion:

Ya but he doesn’t fumble more than any other qb so I’m not too concerned about it. He will get better at tucking the ball and anticipating hits like that in the future hopefully.

No real way to have the quantifiable data for comparison.....A fumble is a fumble regardless of in the pocket or out of the pocket, does the NFL have data on stripped sacks? If so, I liked to see that data.

So that's it for Horns football until next season? A ton of promise as the coaching brass keeps building all three units. Let's get Sammy, Josh Reynolds, and Michael Thomas stretching the defense vertically, providing more room Todd and the remainder of the fly guys underneath. Get Jared get accustomed to gunning the rock downtown and throwing accurately on the run. Let's see if we can snag CBs who actually challenge our WR core as well as a front seven that can relentlessly attack & defend against the opposing backfield. Should the MobSquad adapt the mantra of the old Purple People Eaters?---the best plan is for all of us to meet in the backfield (preferably on top of the QB).

My favorite highlight of the game was Drew Brees lecturing his son on the sideline. He went on the field during the game

I actually went to this miserable game. I got a free ticket so I sat in pouring rain and watched terrible football. On the bright side, there were way more Rams fans there than I anticipated. There was even a Rams tailgate section (Was that any of you guys?).

I loved how the crowd booed every time a Patriots fan got put on the Jumbotron. That included 5 year old kids :rolllaugh:

I posted data in the small hands thread a few days ago.

I hated all the "Special Rules" they have in place for this game! They prevent the players from really playing, and the Ref's where blowing Plays dead before they where over!
ALL TO PROTECT THE PLAYERS FROM GETTING HURT! BS!!! It made the game look SILLY!
And then the Players only started really playing in the 4th quarter when they realized the difference in the pay-check, for the game, between being the Winner and the Loser!

Wow, there are people actually critical of Goff based on this meaningless game where guys are probably playing at half effort tops.

I think Goff played behind a better O line last season than he did in the 4th q yesterday

No surprise there, Pro-Bowl O-linemen should be evaluated based on the starting unit, not by individual pieces considering their cohesion is a key factor in functioning effectively. Would love to see the ballot involve voting for the team's linemen rather than individual ones.
