Anyone else planning on catching any non-Rams games?

Cheatriots/WTF was a snorefest, had to fast forward through a lot of that shit just watched just to get a look at Mack. Gonna make sure I watch Chicago, they're my priority for the weekend.

Thinking about Bills/Lions just out of curiosity to see how that line and run game look around Jared. I know it's preseason but it's football dammit. :clinkingbeer:

Thinking about Bills/Lions
That’s tonight. I might watch some of that one. Only a few games tonight.

The rookie QB’s all could play... Lawrence, Lance, Wilson Saturday night. Fields Saturday day.

It appears Game Pass has all the games.

NFL Network… if I’m seeing right, is carrying the Rams live.

Now that I think about it I will probably watch a little Jags just to see how they look. That team could get good fast IMO but could also just as easily crash and burn. That is kind of intriguing to me.

If they push for the playoffs that division gets a lot more interesting. They already have a nice rivalry with Colts/Titans though the Colts are depending on Wentz loool.

Gonna try to watch all of them. I really want to see Browns/Jags, and also Broncos/Vikings. Mainly for the Broncos QB and see if they could be decent enough to support Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton for fantasy purposes.

Tonight;

7pm EST
Titans at Falcons
Bills at Lions

10pm EST
Cowboys at Cardinals

Yeah. Last game of a quadruple header on NFLN Saturday. 10pm ET

Anyone catch the Patriots Washington game? The commentary gushing over an underwhelming Jones was laughable. I thought the Washington QB group were far superior, Montez was particularly good to watch.

What do you guys think? Would you prefer Trubisky over Wolford?

Trubisky signed a 1yr deal, 2.5M to backup Josh Allen.

Cowboys @ Cardinals

Only watched the first half. Guys who flashed from our division rival:
Rondale Moore, rookie slot WR
Colt McCoy, QB2
Zaven Collins, rookie ILB
Marco Wilson, rookie CB4

Cowboys:
Don't care.

Looks like Trey Lance will get 30 snaps or so, tonight for 49’ers.

Its a good chance to see him.

I’d stick with Wolford for a few reasons. I like when backups can bring something a little different. Wolford can run. The change up in styles can catch a defense off guard, especially mid game.
Another reason is that a guy like Trubiskey will likely bounce around, hoping to stick as a starter at this stage. Maybe he’ll eventually be content as a backup. I don’t know what Wolford’s contract looks like but I’m guessing he’s cheaper too.

I love having a backup mainstay type that really knows the offense after being in it a few years.

Now if Wolford ever does have to start for a good part of a season. I would not mind moving on from him in the off-season if he could net the Rams a second round pick in a trade ala Kevin Kolb. In that case bringing in Trubisky would be a likely stop gap.

Watched a little of the Failcons/Titans because I wanted to see how Weaver was coming along. He looked damn good, had a sack as soon as they put him out there on a play where they chipped him, and almost had another before I lost interest in the game. His game and pop fits the Titans man holy cow.

Arthur Smith is a fatass that has no business leading men. Dude reminds me of Baby Huey and his team looks shitty in the trenches. I predict pain for the Falcons based on a very quick look at their depth.

I'm not seeing any team playing their starters btw. McVay has destroyed preseason lol. Hope our QBs look more prepared than those clowns did. It was painful to watch.

Re: the Titans have no idea if their QB can put up another strong season there but if he does they're a roster with a lot of power built into their depth chart. Have to think they're a final four type team in the AFC and their teams look sharp too btw.
