You can use your own criteria, but I normally think of no Super Bowl appearances, ownership and hometown. Like I place the Rebuilding Since 1959 Detroit Lions a little higher on the respectability ladder than the Browns. Cuz, it's the freakin' Browns. Even if lets say the Jets won a Super Bowl in the 1960's, they are more pathetic than the Jags because the Jags haven't been a franchise that long....Anyway...

I chose the Browns. Sure, the real Browns became the Ravens, but they left their name and history in Cleveland and won Super Bowls in Baltimore.... Cleveland, a true factory of sadness.....

Jets.

Haven't had a decent D since Bill Parcells.

Can't find a decent HC or find a solid QB.

Worse, there's no light at the end of that tunnel... doesn't seem so for a LOOOONG time.

Has to be Lions for me, although I thought of the Bengals.

Cincy doesn't even try to succeed, they just eat that TV money.

Shit, the Jags were in the AFC championship in 2017 after beating the Bills and Steelers.

Jets. Any team that goes 0-16 like they probably will deserves nothing less. The sad thing is that they have pieces: Mekhi Becton looks amazing, Mims is a good receiver (whom I really, really wanted), Quinnen Williams could get them another haul. But their head coach is even worse than Patricia was, their front office doesn't inspire confidence, and the owner doesn't help either.

They really need to burn it all down, start over with Lawrence, Mims, Becton, draft receivers, O-line, a running back or two, a tight end. Build the offense, make it elite. Then focus on the defensive side.

I mean, fuck, I should be their GM. First female GM in the NFL.

Done! When can you relocate to Hoboken?

Hands down, it should be the Browns, but the fact that they are making the playoffs this year is taking them out of race.
But really, prior to this season:
- only 2 winning seasons in their (reboot) 20 year history
- only the 2nd 0-16 team in history
- only 1 of 10 1-15 teams in history
- only 1 win in 35 game stretch from 2015-2018
- 28 different QB starters since 1999
- 11 head coaches in 20 seasons (2 interim)

Lions, every other team has had some sort of playoff success in the last 50 years, not to mention the waste of Berry Sanders and Calvin Johnson...oh and an 0-16 season to boot...glad we are not them

But here's the deal.

Lions if they have ONE brain cell hire Robert Saleh in the off-season.

The ONE offense he knows how to beat in his sleep with backups and JAGs is the McVay/LeFleur WCO.

LeFleur? You mean of the Green Bay LeFleurs? Why yes...yes I do.

If the Lions get Saleh, I expect them to at the very least get to the Fisher line ( the HC equivalent of the Mendoza line which in football is 7 wins)

Jets are a mess, however, they have won a Super Bowl. The Detroit Lions for some odd reason, just can't win in the playoffs. Plus there has been some very bad hires over the years. I wish them team well unless they play against the Rams. Overall as much money as the Ford family, there football acumen is abysmal.

I will make this easy...Hire Ed Dodd from the Colts and Robert Saleh as their next Head Coach. Both have energy plus Dodd has been behind some of the better drafts of late. Saleh is a great motivator & with his Michigan roots will covet the job and as @Mackeyser has so eloquently communicated, Saleh will be out of our division and weaken a rival.

@flv , I left you the troll choice.....

I voted for Jets. I mean, they are likely to have the top pick in the draft and the top prospect, Lawrence, is rumored to consider going back to school simply because the Jets have the pick. At least the Lions realized they had a lame duck coach/GM and got rid of them. The Jets are keeping the worst coach in football in the building... and its become a running joke. As has the franchise.

Jets? seriously at least the have a Lombardi.

It was a toss up between the Browns and Lions but at least the Browns have some old school championships to their name and as others have stated the Lions playoff record is complete shit.

You had Barry Sanders in the RB's hay day and you didn't do shit with him. That's a executable offense right there.

I chose the Jets because the fans have to look back and say shit like "Remember when Rex Ryan was our coach?....I miss that!"

No one should ever miss that foot loving freak lol

Where's the Lime Green Seadawks or the the SaaanFwan HaughtyWhiners options?

 - pathetic franchises both of them.

:ROFLMAO:

I chose Jets based off of recent years only. All time is probably Lions because I Remember the Jets being competitive and going to the post season when Ryan was the HC and Sanchez was QB. Mainly due to defense but still. I don't recall the Lions in the post season but maybe once in the last 15-20 years.
