Shanahan will probably do the quick-developing plays that usually neutralize AD. Our O needs to get up on them.

Shanny's a dick. He'll run the ball a ton and short pass the F out of our defense so opportunities will be hard to come by. So going with zero sacks but 2 stuffs.
Which is really the same thing in a way. IMO pressures should be the stat the NFL hypes the most though. Pressures are what win games in this league.

I like Kyle Shanahan (and I liked his dad too). I watched his presser the other day and he lamented the fact he and McVay have to play each other all the time, because they love talking ball and now they can't. He talked about their similar paths out of the Jon Gruden camp. They have a great respect for each other and history together.

My exact thoughts. Shanny aint no dummy. The only way to beat the Rams is to run the ball all day and throw short passes over the middle. Those are maybe the biggest weaknesses this Rams team possesses. Shanny can't trust his QB's at all and he doesn't want to get into a passing game shootout. We will win that game big. I expect to also see Deebo and Ayuik on some outside end arounds.
This sort of approach keeps Donald from getting sack opportunities.
HOWEVER, if the Rams can get up in this game which is very possible, then the Niners will need to throw the ball and Donald will feast.
I have Donald at 2 sacks in this one.
Six straight games with a sack against the Niners and at least one sack in his last four Sunday Night games. Donald steps it up against NFC West opponents and he steps it up in prime time.
You guys give Shanahan too much credit. If he knows how to take AD out of the equation he hasn't shown it yet. In five games against him they've allowed 9.5 sacks.
